Albemarle Announces $1.3B Common Stock Offering

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Feb. 2, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Albemarle Corporation (NYSE:ALB), a leader in the global specialty chemicals industry, today announced that it has commenced an underwritten public offering of $1,300,000,000 of shares of its common stock. In connection with this offering, Albemarle expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to $195,000,000 of additional shares at the public offering price, less the underwriting discounts and commissions.
