* Tesla (TSLA) - Shares were up about 5% following news of a 5-year supply deal with Australian miner, Piedmont Lithium (PLL), for lithium. Piedmont shares were up more than 200% in pre-market action.

* Boeing (BA) - The stock was up nearly 4% ahead of the open following a late-Friday report the head of the FAA will be conducting a flight evaluation of Boeing's 737 MAX on Wednesday of this week.

* Lithium Americas (LAC) - A sympathy play in the lithium group. The stock was up about 30% ahead of the opening bell.

* Professional Diversity Network (IPDN) - A play on an improving focus on diversity in the workplace. On Friday, Bank of America (BAC) announced a $2 billion equality progress sustainability fund. Recent momentum stocks, Urban One (UONE) and Carver Bancorp (CARV), viewed as publicly-traded companies with a focus on serving African-American communities, also seemed to respond to the BofA fund.
