* Whirlpool (WHR) - Will report Q3 results on Wednesday. Anecdotally, appliances have seen strong demand and limited supply during the pandemic. Shares of Whirlpool have had a very strong 2020; since the lows set in March, Whirlpool shares have rallied about 170%.

* Biogen (BIIB) - The company will publish quarterly results before market open on Wednesday.

* AXT, Inc. (AXTI) - Shares could be viewed as a sympathy play following raised guidance out of semiconductor company, EMCORE (EMKR). EMCORE shares were up about 15% ahead of the open Tuesday.

* McAfee Corp. (MCFE) - Expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq Thursday. The company has been a provider of security software for more than 30 years.

* Uxin (UXIN) - A play on momentum in US-listed Beijing-based companies on Monday. The Benzinga Newsdesk did not find any news to justify the moves higher in names like Kaixin Auto (KXIN), Dragon Victory (LYL) and Jianpu Technology (JT). While these other stocks were selling off Tuesday morning, Uxin shares continued higher, up another 21%.
