09:57 Friday, January 8, 2021 (RTTNews.com) - Shares of New Relic Inc. (NEWR) touched a 52-week high of $75.98 Friday morning, and are currently trading at $75.83, up $10.89 or 16.78%, with trading volume of 407K more versus an average volume of 534K shares.

The company, today, said it promoted Bill Staples to President and Chief Product Officer. New Relic also announced that Michael Christenson has decided to step back from his day-to-day operating role as President and Chief Operating Officer. Christenson would remain as the company's Chief Operating Officer through the end of the fiscal year to ensure a smooth transition, and would continue as a strategic advisor to Cirne beginning in FY22 while continuing to serve on the company's Board of Directors.
