Moody's Q3 EPS $2.69 Beats $2.10 Estimate, Sales $1.40B Beat $1.21B Estimate

Moody's (NYSE:MCO) reported quarterly earnings of $2.69 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $2.10 by 28.1 percent. This is a 25.12 percent increase over earnings of $2.15 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $1.40 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.21 billion by 15.70 percent. This is a 12.81 percent increase over sales of $1.24 billion the same period last year.
