Main Street Sees Prelim. Q2 NII $0.47-$0.48

HOUSTON, July 20, 2020 /PRNewswire/ --Main Street Capital Corporation (NYSE:MAIN) ("Main Street") is pleased to announce its preliminary operating results for the second quarter of 2020. Main Street's preliminary estimate of second quarter 2020 net investment income ("NII") is $0.47 to $0.48 per share. Main Street's preliminary estimate of second quarter 2020 distributable net investment income ("DNII"), which is NII before non-cash, share-based compensation expense,is $0.51 to $0.52 per share.(1)

Main Street's preliminary estimate of net asset value ("NAV") per share as of June 30, 2020 is $20.80 to $20.90, representing an increase of approximately $0.07 to $0.17 per share, or 0.3% to 0.8%, from the reported NAV per share of $20.73 as of March 31, 2020. The preliminary estimate of non-accrual debt investments as a percentage of Main Street's total investment portfolio as of June 30, 2020 is 1.9% on a fair value basis and 6.3% on a cost basis.
