GCC Announces Settlement and Payment in Connection With Favorable Arbitral Award
CHIHUAHUA, Mexico, Oct. 19, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- GCC, S.A.B. de C.V. (BMV: GCC*; the “Company”), a leading producer of cement and concrete in the United States and Mexico, announced today that, following the favorable arbitral award obtained on November 5, 2025, the Company entered into a settlement agreement and received a gross payment of US$71.5 million. The arbitration proceeding arose in connection with GCC’s sale, in 2011, of its equity interest in SOBOCE, S.A. to Consorcio Cementero del Sur, S.A.
