BLCO Gains European CE Mark for Next-Gen SeeLyra Femtosecond Laser
Bausch + Lomb (BLCO) announced that its SeeLyra femtosecond laser received European CE Mark approval, expanding its surgical technology portfolio. The platform uses live swept-source OCT for real-time visualization and precise surgical control in cataract, LASIK, and corneal procedures. A limited European launch is planned with broader availability expected in 2027. The global ophthalmic femtosecond lasers market is projected to grow at 7.5% CAGR through 2033.
