CBAK Energy Secures Approximately US$96 Million Battery Cell Order from Indian Customer
CBAK Energy Technology Limited announced a large-scale $96 million battery cell order from a leading Indian two- and three-wheeler manufacturer, expected to bring a designated manufacturing facility to full capacity with delivery completion in 2027. The order represents a significant expansion of the commercial relationship and strengthens CBAK Energy's position in India's electric mobility market, which remains underpenetrated with only 6% electric two-wheeler market penetration. The company is also in discussions with another major India-based customer regarding a potential large-volume order.
