OptiValue Tek stock gains 5% after receiving revised order worth ₹64 Cr from Aroosha Tech

Every government service people use today, from booking tickets to filing forms, runs on a website or an app that someone has to build, secure and keep running. These projects are rarely a one-time job. Once the first phase goes live, there is usually more to add, fix and integrate, which is why work often expands after the first order.
Shares of Optivalue Tek Consulting Ltd . were closed at Rs. 224.70, up 5.00 percent from previous close of Rs. 214.00. The stock opened at Rs. 214.00, reaching an intraday high of Rs. 224.70 and low of Rs. 213.00. The company currently has a market capitalization of Rs. 526 crores.

What's the news?
According to a stock exchange filing dated October 5, 2026, OptiValue Tek Consulting has seen the scope of its order from Aroosha Technologies Limited expand. The order value has been revised from Rs. 16.25 crore to Rs. 64 crore, including GST, which makes it almost four times the original. The company had first disclosed the order on September 10, 2026. It is a domestic order, and the company says it is not a related party transaction.
The work involves developing a website for a government client and covers ecosystem revamp, onsite support operations, information and service integration, and security and compliance. The timeline is about 12 months. The filing doesn't name the end client, though media reports on the earlier order linked it to a ticketing website modernisation. The company has also said the promoter group has no interest in Aroosha Technologies.
Financial & Business Analysis
Consolidated revenue from operations increased 63.32% YoY, climbing from Rs. 56.47 crore in FY25 to Rs. 92.22 crore in FY26.  Consolidated net profit increased 13.44% YoY, reaching Rs. 13.76 crore in FY26 compared to Rs. 12.13 crore in FY25. The basic earnings per share stood at Rs. 6.66 as against Rs. 7.04 recorded in the same quarter in the previous year, FY2026.
OptiValue Tek started out by providing managed services to telecom companies and implementing telecom OSS/BSS applications, which are the systems that run billing and operations. Over time it has added application integration, cloud, data and API work, with banking among its other client industries. Recently, its order flow has been moving beyond telecom. Apart from this government web project, it also holds a Rs. 20.7 crore order from Rchobbytech Solutions for nano drone supply, so the mix is becoming wider.
The revision matters for the order book. Before this change, the two orders announced for FY27 added up to about Rs. 37 crore. With the Aroosha order now at Rs. 64 crore, the same two orders together come to roughly Rs. 85 crore, by my calculation. A 12-month project means revenue can be spread over a full year, and a government reference adds credibility for future bids. The risk is that a single client now makes up most of the visible order flow, so delivery needs to be smooth.
Industry Context
India's technology industry is large and still growing. Nasscom projects it at about $315 billion in FY26, up 6.1%, with AI already contributing an estimated $10-12 billion. Exports account for the bulk of that, at around $246 billion, but there is a strong home-market story as well. Earlier Nasscom estimates had domestic tech revenue at about $58.2 billion in FY25, growing 7% against 4.6% for exports.
That faster domestic growth is where companies like OptiValue Tek can find work. Government departments and public bodies keep modernising their portals, services and security systems under the Digital India programme, and the National Informatics Centre exists to build and run these systems. Smaller firms with clean delivery records can win a share through larger system integrators, as OptiValue Tek has done here with Aroosha Technologies.
