NBCC Bags Multiple Orders Worth ₹145 Cr From SAIL, NEEPCO, ED and DVC

What’s the News 
Multiple order receipts of about Rs. 144.98 crores excluding GST have been obtained by NBCC as part of its usual business operations. These order receipts have been obtained from North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO), Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC)..
The latest contracts cover projects across Meghalaya, Jharkhand, Odisha and West Bengal, involving construction, repair, maintenance, renovation and project management consultancy services.
Order Details
The largest portion of the order inflow comes from SAIL's Bokaro Steel Plant, with multiple contracts aggregating to around Rs. 111.92 crore. NBCC received a Rs. 55.91 crore order for comprehensive external repair and painting of 654 building blocks across Sectors 2, 3, 8, 9 and 11 of the Bokaro Steel City Township.
The company also secured two orders worth Rs. 23.48 crore each for the construction of 250 × 30 metre sheds with 25-tonne EOT crane facilities at the General Stores Area of the MM-Stores Department at Bokaro Steel Plant. Another Rs. 9.05 crore order from SAIL involves the comprehensive upgradation, repair and maintenance of 500 residential quarters in Bokaro Steel City Township.
From NEEPCO, NBCC received an Rs. 11.21 crore order for project management consultancy services for the development of a township on a 21.66-acre plot at Umsawli, Mawdiangdiang, Shillong, Meghalaya. The scope covers PMC services from the concept stage through commissioning.
The Enforcement Directorate's Bhubaneswar Zonal Office awarded NBCC a Rs. 5.86 crore contract for interior renovation and furnishing works at its new office premises. Meanwhile, DVC awarded a Rs. 15.99 crore contract for construction of an officers' dormitory building at Mayabazar, DTPS, Durgapur.
Strengthens Order Pipeline
The latest contracts add to NBCC's ongoing order inflow from government and public-sector clients. The company had a consolidated order book of around Rs. 1.27 lakh crore as of June 30, 2026, according to recent company-related disclosures.
The new orders also demonstrate the diversity of NBCC's project portfolio, ranging from industrial construction and township maintenance to PMC services and government-office renovation.
However, the Rs. 144.98 crore order value should not be treated as immediate revenue. Revenue will be recognised progressively as the projects are executed and milestones are completed.
Financial performance 
Looking at the quarterly results of NBCC (India) Limited, the company’s consolidated revenue from operations declined by 5.56 percent YoY, from Rs. 2,392.49 crore in Q1 FY26 to Rs. 2,259.53 crore in Q1 FY27. On a sequential basis, revenue from operations declined by 50.45 percent from Rs. 4,559.80 crore in Q4 FY26.
In Q1 FY27, NBCC’s consolidated profit for the period stood at Rs. 158.01 crore, compared with Rs. 135.03 crore in Q1 FY26, registering a growth of around 17.02 percent YoY. As compared to Q4 FY26, profit declined by 37.67 percent from Rs. 253.51 crore. 
The basic EPS stood at Rs. 0.57 in Q1 FY27, compared with Rs. 0.49 in Q1 FY26 and Rs. 0.89 in Q4 FY26. Diluted EPS was also Rs. 0.57 in Q1 FY27, compared with Rs. 0.49 in Q1 FY26 and Rs. 0.89 in Q4 FY26.
