MGM Resorts May Make A Bid For People Inc.
MGM Resorts, a recent purchase target for Barry Diller’s People Inc., may now turn the tables and acquire People Inc., The Wall Street Journal reports. MGM is now deciding
whether to make a bid, sources said. People has a market value of around $2.7 billion, whereas MGM’s is about $8.5 billion. People Inc. continues to own a 27% share in MGM Resorts.
