Hyperliquid Could Be About to Get U.S. Regulatory Approval. Is HYPE Worth Buying Now?
Hyperliquid (CRYPTO: HYPE) is surging right now, hitting a record $95.95 on Sept. 22, partially as a result of widespread beliefs that it'll soon be allowed to compete in the U.S. Those beliefs are substantiated, if a bit overenthusiastic; on Aug. 19, President Donald Trump stated the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) chair was already "working very hard" to bring it onshore. If it gets the green light to operate in the U.S., it'd mark a massive expansion to the decentralized crypto exchange's addressable market, and it might even start to attract institutional interest.
