Canada-Japan Funding Fuels Xanadu and Mitsubishi Chemical Partnership on Quantum Semiconductor Research
Xanadu Quantum Technologies and Mitsubishi Chemical have announced phase two of their collaboration to advance semiconductor fabrication using quantum computing algorithms, specifically targeting extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography. The partnership is supported by funding from Canada's National Research Council Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP) and Japan's Strategic Innovation Promotion Program (SIP), aiming to develop a fault-tolerant quantum computing-ready software pipeline for identifying materials that prevent radiation-induced blurring in chip manufacturing.
