For FY27, the company Prince Pipes & Fittings Limited anticipates volume growth in the range of 12-15 percent, with EBITDA margins of 11-13 percent. The management intends to normalize inventories by Q2 FY27, with inventories in the range of 65-75 days.
The bathware business is expected to reach a quarterly revenue run rate of Rs. 25 crore by Q3 FY27, with profitability approaching breakeven at this level. Over the medium term, the company will focus on achieving strong volume growth while improving margins through a better product mix and greater operational efficiency.
Aquel Bathware: Revenue Growth and Path to Breakeven

Management expects performance to improve significantly in Q2 FY27 compared with Q1. The company believes that growth in the Bathware business will help reduce operating losses and improve its overall financial performance.
Management considers a quarterly revenue run rate of around Rs. 25 crore achievable by December 2026 (Q3 FY27). At this revenue level, the Bathware business is expected to come close to breakeven. DECILO: Expanding Presence in Premium Plumbing Solutions
DECILO has been introduced by Prince Pipes, which is an advanced drainage system made from polypropylene that cuts down on noise and makes installation easier. Production has commenced from its Haridwar plant, and it is being used in residential buildings, hospitals, and hotels. This system is faster to install and needs less maintenance.
DECILO is expected to support premiumization, improve product mix and deliver better gross margins than conventional PVC products. The company is targeting both retail and project channels, focusing on architects, developers and plumbing consultants. Management also indicated plans to introduce more innovative products in the piping segment, although DECILO’s specific revenue contribution and launch timeline for further products have not been disclosed.
Market Expansion and Working-Capital Improvement:
Prince Pipes is confident that there will be an improvement in the demand front because of the stabilization of prices of PVC as a result of MIP policy. This can motivate the distributors to keep regular stocks and promote sales. Following poor demand in April, June and July saw a pick-up in demand. Consolidation in the industry and shortage of raw material supplies for small producers can benefit Prince Pipes.
The company plans to drive growth through distributor expansion, retailer-level demand generation, digital initiatives, and stronger brand building. Increasing sales of premium products such as CPVC, PPR, PP and innovative drainage systems is expected to improve product mix and profitability over time.
Prince Pipes aims to reduce inventory days to 65-75 and bring debtor days closer to 30 over the next couple of years. Better capacity utilization, operating efficiency, and working capital management are expected to improve returns and help the company move towards its historical ROCE range of 15-20 percent.
Can Prince Pipes achieve 12-15 percent volume growth in FY27?
Prince Pipes & Fittings Limited is targeting 12-15 percent volume growth in FY27, supported by improving demand, better distributor stocking and expansion across plumbing, agriculture and infrastructure segments. The stabilisation of PVC prices following the minimum import price (MIP) measure could encourage distributors to maintain normal inventory levels and support sales.
The company is also focusing on expanding its distribution network, strengthening its brand and increasing sales of premium products such as CPVC, PPR and innovative drainage systems. If demand continues to improve, Prince Pipes could move closer to its targeted growth range.
However, achieving this target will depend on sustained demand, effective inventory management and better utilisation of manufacturing capacity. At the higher end of its growth target, capacity utilisation could reach around 60 percent, helping the company improve operational efficiency.
The management plans to normalise the inventory position to 65-75 days at the end of Q2 FY27. With a more balanced product portfolio and better working capital management, these initiatives might help profitability. On the whole, the growth plan of 12-15 percent looks realistic, assuming that the recovery in demand persists and the business expansion plans are implemented well.
