SalMar – Record-strong biological performance
SalMar ASA achieved record-high second quarter harvest volume of 81,800 tonnes with operational EBIT of NOK 1,237 million, driven by strong biological performance in Norway. The company raised its 2026 volume guidance by 20,000 tonnes to 350,000 tonnes (16% growth) and expects lower costs in Q3. SalMar also agreed to acquire a 70% stake in Måsøval AS for NOK 3.4 billion to strengthen its Central Norway operations.
