DEI is bullshit - people unqualified & incompetent for a position given the position due to some attribute (skin colour, gender etc.) and not their qualification, competence or ability to do the job.
Now we are returning to meritocracy & those who have not put in the work are losing their shit.

Another aspect of "DEI" \[scenario\] - a (say) black woman & worked hard, got the educational qualifications, is competent & very capable of doing a role. Due to "quotas" another black woman get hired, under "DEI", in the same space, at the same level but is not qualified, has not worked her way up & is just not competent. The first woman now has to pick up the slack for the second & not only that, the second is causing all kinds of problems due to lack of knowledge & competence....... What message does this send to the first woman? You did all the work, education & hard graft but it doesn't matter???
(this is a real situation I observed in a very large AMNC in the CRM space)
"DEI" didn't just appear in the last 4 or 5 years, this is an intentional outcome of the "everyone gets a prize" bullshit
