The $UNH "Death Cross" finally triggered as shares struggle near $289, following a 46% net income collapse and medical costs climbing to 89%. With 89% of semiconductors still trading above their 200-day average while the software index hits 12-month lows, we are seeing the widest sector divergence on record.
How are you balancing your portfolio given this massive split between "picks and shovels" AI winners and the struggling enterprise software/healthcare sectors?

The upward movement on UNH is going to be so violent when they are finally ready to move again. It’s going to sit flat for months and one random Thursday it’s going to go up $30.

STO PAYX 2/20 $90 CSPs for .25
This decline is wierd. Solid revenue growth, trading at a 20% lower valuation verses the other S&P500 average stock, strong fundamentals and historically cheap. I’ve already got ITM 3/20 $95 and looking for free money today or start a CC Campaign. Close to 5% yield on a Dividend Aristocrat and my fundamental analysis has it at $121 valuation based on Forward numbers. Reminds me of UNH in 2019.

If APP can stay below 440 and UNH somehow go to 295 today that would be great.

Not all. Maybe CNC. They're actually a good and essential piece of infrastructure that, barring an AOC presidency, will be around for as long as our kluge of a medical insurance system exists. UNH is in for long term pain. I was considering riding CNC up again (I bought it at like 25 and rode to 45 or so). But I'm sick of it being taco'd. I hate a stock with this extrinsic and unpredictable volatility predicated on the moods of an incontinent demented person.

If 7K is money you are willing to lose then I recommend some solid stocks that underwent big turbulence recently like UNH or ORCL. Since you are willing to stake it for 6 years that will be enough time for dust to clear.

Right now I’m playing around with:
* Positive net income.
* Dividend Yield > 2%
* Sustainable Payout Ratio : < 75%
* Revenue Growth above Industry Median
* ROE > 10%
* Daily Volume > $1M
For ranking, I’m combining dividend yield, 3-year dividend growth, revenue growth, and ROE.
Not surprised that MAIN is at the top of the list, with >7% yield, 12% revenue growth, 19% ROE, and 16% growth in dividends per share. There a few other notables though:
* SM Energy Co (SM): huge dividend growth, but revenue growth is questionable
* Interparfums (IPAR): solid, consistent revenue growth
* Automatic Data Processing (ADP): high ROE
* UnitedHealth Group Inc (UNH) still looking like it could be a solid buy depending on the recent policy stuff.
Backtesting shows it nearly keeping up with the S&P 500 in the past 5 years. It also resulted in a dividend yield of around 5%.
What should I emphasize more heavily?
\- Free cash flow coverage?
\- Debt metrics?
\- Sector exclusions?
