Some people waited decades for this. Some died waiting. I bought my first silver (PSLV) when covid hit and it saved my portfolio when everything else was down. Since then I started stacking physical up.
And now it's the big one. Years passed and yet somehow it feels like I got in just at the nick of time. I bought silver for my buddies, not one of them bought more. I guess you either get it or you don't when you've got a coin in your hand and you realize: oh, I'm holding money for the first time in my life.
I got banned from this subreddit (years and years ago) when I was asking too many questions of whether the mods were cashing in on it without telling us, got reinstated, then left for a long time, barely posting, slowly increasing my stack. I don't have a huge amount of silver, or anything, but you know what, I think it's going to be enough.
Godspeed.

If we are at the stage where the gov't or the angry mob wants our PSLV silver, we are in an environment where holding or trading is illegal and personal safety would be the first priority.

See that's why I can't get behind physically possessing it. Could the economy go down and money pour into precious metals and I survive because I bought PSLV? Sure. But if things get so bad that PSLV doesn't matter, then stocks don't matter, bonds don't matter, etc. You're talking complete societal collapse and there's a good chance I get shot and mugged when trying to use physical silver to buy food

Time to revive this thread! $48 today and this after being tamped $2 in 2 hours. It recovered and surpassed in less than 48.
The handle of the cup is just about complete. It might have taken 5 years, but on a chart that's measured in decades, the symmetry is there.
Don't listen to me because I'm regarded, but the rocket is on the launch pad, we need just a few more apes to join before takeoff. If you don't want to buy physical, which is the best route, PSLV is there for you. SLV could run into problems.

Same here. I just tripled down on my PSLV. My physical stack is still lost… at sea.

Ignore anyone who tells you to hit 1000oz bars with bankster products like SLV. Even PSLV is suspect: pretty sure it's in Canada, and the Canadians can confiscate it at any second.
The real fight is over PHYSICAL. Each physical ounce you hoard: be it antique silverware, 1oz coins from the local shop, or "junk silver" (actually should be called treasure silver, but the naming convention is used to make it seem like it's worthless) stops the banksters from being able to melt it down.
Here's a little thought experiment: When you need to build an electric car, or a missile, or a phone... do you use SLV or do you use real, physical silver in your hands?

Really? If I was sitting on 500 oz in an urban apartment I would be more worried.
SLV could detach from real price but don’t see that happening with PSLV.

Shares of PSLV are backed by physical silver. Currently at 199,877,073 ounces of silver. The more they take off the market the less available for the rest of the physical market. The best way to own physical is to hold it yourself, the second best way is the PSLV or silver miners.

As a proud holder of PSLV for many years, I added a thousand shares today to my investment. I did not hit the bottom price for today, but it was close enough. I stack PSLV shares just as I do physical silver, gold, and miners. It's been a profitable Trifecta and I am sure it will be in the years to come.

There is no discrepancy with PSLV, it's a trust where shares you hold are backed by a specific amount of physical silver in a vault.
If you sell shares of PSLV all that happens is someone else now owns the silver you once held.
Someone could in theory just buy all PSLV shares, go to the vault, and collect it all if they wanted. Because all shares are backed by silver there is no possibility of "insolvency".
Do not listen to this retarded assclown, PSLV and SLV are nothing alike. SLV does have potential issues if too many go for redemption. PSLV does not.

The only ones scared here are SLV/PSLV holders. While I do think they'll catch part of the squeeze, they better have a quick exit strategy before the market realizes how worthless paper is.
