We have removed your post from r/Daytrading because it has broken Rule 2: Don't post without context and details.
Don't post questions without giving any context or details about what your asking about. Posts with a question in a title and just an image in the body will probably be removed.
No personal sob stories of losing a ton of money, glorifying losses, or how you yolo'd all your money. Instead create a post detailing what you did and ask for advice on how to improve your trading.
Also, no posting screenshots of your P&L or winning trade without details on what you did and why you did it - the goal is to give advice and to help others, not just brag pointlessly.
Please refrain from posting this kind of content in the future or the mod team will have to take additional action on your account and ability to post on the subreddit.
All the best,

Don't think there's a way to show P&L % for a single trade.
Let's see if someone else knows if that's possible.

Most investors miss real turnarounds because they don’t dig into reports. Gujarat Mineral Development Corp (GMDC) is a masterclass in stealth operational fixes, while keeping prices flat and shares stagnant. I spent 6 hours pulling data from their filings. Here’s the blueprint:
📉 The Crisis (2019-2022)
Metric FY2019 Source
Total Debt ₹1,812 Cr FY2019 Annual Report (Pg. 93)
Net Loss ₹(127) Cr FY2019 P&L (Pg. 89)
Logistics Cost (% revenue) 28% FY2019 Notes (Pg. 47)
🛠️ The Silent Fixes (Buried in Footnotes)
Turnaround Lever Key Evidence in Reports Source & Link
1. Debt Annihilation "Proceeds from land sale: ₹950 Cr used for debt prepayment" FY2023 Annual Report (Pg. 112)
2. Logistics Overhaul "Coastal shipping reduced bauxite transport cost by 40%" FY2021 MD&A (Pg. 23)
3. Automation Push "Capex: ₹142 Cr for AI drills & autonomous haulage systems" FY2022 Notes (Pg. 89)
4. Volume Expansion "New mines commissioned: Lignite production ↑35% YoY" FY2024 Earnings Call Transcript (Pg. 4)
5. Renewable Pivot "Solar plants on depleted mines: 25% reduction in power costs" FY2023 MD&A (Pg. 17)
📈 The Result
Metric FY2023 FY2024 Source
Net Profit / (Loss) ₹(487) Cr ₹628 Cr FY2024 P&L (Pg. 11)
Avg. Selling Price (Lignite) ₹1,800/ton ₹1,820/ton FY2024 Operations (Pg. 9)
Share Price (Dec-Jan Avg) ₹220 ₹240 BSE Historical Prices
🔍 How to Hunt for Turnarounds Yourself
Download 5 years of reports from BSE or NSE.
Search PDFs for:
"Operational efficiency"
"Cost rationalisation"
"Debt prepayment"
"Volume growth"
Cross-check:
P&L: Falling costs + flat prices
Cash Flow: Asset sale proceeds → debt reduction
Notes: Capex shifts (e.g., renewables, automation)
⚠️ Why the Market Missed It
PSU Blindspot: Analysts ignored filings. Example:"GMDC’s solar pivot is immaterial" — Broker Report, 2022
Slow Burn: Fixes took 3+ years → impatient money left.
💡 Your Toolkit
Source Hierarchy:
Annual Reports > Earnings Calls > Investor Presentations > Broker Notes
Always link primary sources (as above).
Red Flags: Vague language like "market challenges" without action plans.
Green Flags: Specifics like "saved ₹X Cr via Y initiative."
TL;DR: GMDC’s 5-year grind proves turnarounds hide in plain sight. Flat prices? Check. Flat stock? Check. Profit surge? Sourced. Stop chasing headlines — start Ctrl+F’ing annual reports.
Discussion:
Found a similar silent turnaround? Share your sourced analysis!
Worst "footnote vs. headline" disconnect you’ve seen?
Why do PSUs get no love for operational excellence?

Thanks!
Sirius can be inferred from what's visible because we can see the angle of the star trails. If you're watching the animation in this post, Sirius is not visible. However there's a trick you can use to find it's positioning:
While looking at the animation, use your left hand to make an "L" between your forefinger and your thumb. Line up the thumb so that the start trails are inline with your thumb. Your forefinger will be pointing towards the direction of Sirius.

WHY IS [$WINT](https://x.com/search?q=%24WINT&src=cashtag_click) MOVING WHILE MARKET IS CLOSED?
Windtree Therapeutics ($WINT) just shocked the market with a massive after-hours move — surging from $3 to $27 in P/L while market is closed.
Windtree Therapeutics ($WINT) just shocked the market with a massive after-hours move — surging from $3 to $30 in Profits during closing hours, on news of a $60M securities purchase agreement, with up to $140M more on the table. This kind of low-float, biotech catalyst could fuel a major pre-market gap. Are you holding? Is your P/L reflecting the spike? Get ready for potential halts, profit-taking, or even more upside at the bell. Pre-market could get wild.

You should... opex kasi is comprised of your expenses regardless kung kumikita ka or hindi... tipong kahit anong mangyari babayaran mo sya expense. Example is rent, electricity, assoc dues (if nasa building ka) so while wala sa P&L mo ang loan repayments, dapat mo parin sya iconsider kasi babayaran at babayaran mo sya.

The L on the left is horribly wrong. Liberty has no furls on her abdomen. The W is too close to her leg. The dress lines are crude. Is it fake? Yes. Is it actual silver? Couldn't say but probably not.

1. Tell me your win rate with your W/L ratio.
2. Tell me if you're sizing based off your current pnl or off anything else that depends on your path through the trades (up/down).
3. Tell me the Sharpe.
4. Tell me if you included two-tick slippage. Include more slippage for volatile products in periods with wide spreads, e.g. BTC for a few hours after open.
Start with that.

Pros: Top UI/UX but has a learning curve to it, TurboTrader feature is heaven for traders optimizing for order execution speed with hotkeys, quick buying power (BP) update upon depositing, swift withdrawals. Web version is available and robust enough.
Cons: Dividend payments are relatively slower than other brokers, "Last Price" quote for lower volume stocks gets delayed hence affecting displayed P&L (but doesn't affect ask/bid quotes).

I studied the pebble as a geology undergrad. I know exactly why pebble is bad.
You dont, and you're a liar.
Your response cracks me up, especially the  "you’re just an uneducated individual who posts idiotic comments on the internet based on emotion" part. Specifically because of how wrong you are.

Sounds good! Thanks for the advice, I’m not worried too much about people like that. I’m a grown man I make my own decisions at the end of the day, but I do like to gain knowledge and get experience whenever I can no ego attached. If people on here with more experience tell me I got screwed over I’ll take my L and do more research but if they tell me I did good I’ll take the W and still do research to see how true their statement is :) can’t trust anybody nowadays

you are probably going to get pennies for rolling (you are also typing up capital, which could be serving better in another trade, to stay in the trade). either get the shares called away (or get assigned the stock) or take the L and buy back the contract(s).

a roll if you are red is just taking a L and starting a new position, if you are green its taking some profit and starting a new position.
its really a shitty term, imo "new trades" is better lol

I manage my family's investments and I have been doing well swing trading ETFs. Currently, we have 8 IRA accounts at Fidelity and I generally make the same trades in each account. But as you can guess it's getting unwieldy having to track and trade in so many accounts. One time, in a rush, I accidentally hit BUY instead of SELL -- that did not go well...
I often wondered how I could make things more efficient. Pooling everything together in one account was an idea but I wasn't sure it could be done. I read Self-Directed IRAs can invest in many alternative investments like LLCs or L.Ps. Forming an investment club whose members are my family's IRAs could be my solution. The investment club could be a Limited Partnership with the IRAs as limited partners and I would be the general partner.
Well, I learned Fidelity does allow some alternative investments and even had an Alternative Investments Team. Talked to them and each person I talked to never heard of this idea but all said it could be done with Fidelity so go ahead and we'll work out the kinks as we go. Not inspiring great confidence but I'm hoping this is doable.
But in essence, the idea is each of my family's IRAs would contribute their account balance to the investment club, this would be their sole investment by becoming a limited partner. With the money pooled in the partnership account at Fidelity I would trade like I normally do but it would be way easier and more efficient. For Fidelity, I think the concept is simple, I just trading in one account instead of 8 and I'm responsible for all the book keeping which is pretty much impossible to screw up with Fidelity statements and record keeping.
No outside or non trading activities would be allowed, and all activities would take place within the Fidelity partnership account. I know I would have to file Form 1065s each year but that's not that hard for me. No margin and only Option Level 1 is allowed which is OK since it doesn't change anything I do.
I adapted a L.P. document to my needs and filing with my state only cost $13. No annual reporting and the state does not require me to report adding limited partners. So it seems pretty cheap to do on my end.
What do you guys think? Anything I could be missing? Thank you!

Seriously. This is the best advice. Written for beginners.
Read or listen to the book "Simple Path to Wealth" J.L. Collins. Teaches you how to invest by just buying one fund, and keeps it simple. Good place to start while you learn everything. If you want to try other stuff later, you can, but this starts you somewhere.

everything you listed is like what mike tyson said, everyone has a plan till you get punched in the mouth.

ok you sell a CSP like a good boy at 45 dte , trump announces 100% tariffs china effective asap. your trade goes drill to core of the earth instantly and all you see is red.

are you in panic? are you watching every tick to see if it comes back, do you close it and take a L?

your risk management is how much you are willingly to lose,. both finacially and in your time. If you put all that 100k to work and got stuck for 5 years on a dead stock? (ask me how i know, NCLH prepandemic) are you dead to trade or do you still have powder left etc.

personally IMO this enivironment is wild right now, shit is ATH crazy. some companies multiples are like imaginary but at the same time they are trading daily. we are in the greatest debt binge ever. and the party is still going.
If i were you i would work it backwards, you have 100k talksake, ok so you are making 4-4.2% on your cash sitting in a MM fund that you can trade against so double dipping, right off the rip you are making something daily. Of that 100k, how much could evaporate and you not care, AT ALL, no sleep loss no reddit therapy did anyone else do the same shit i did lets talk about how we both got fucked etc...
That is your risk on % dont put yourself in a position to breach whatever you cant stomach.
aim to start to try to make 1% a month which is like .25% weekly, $250 buckaroos. if you want more well scale up with some more contracts. but see if you can be a constant winner, and newflash, if you are a constant winner you probably are way to safe doing steamroller strategy. 1 L wipe a year of gains.
there aint no free lunch
