Yes, I started selling puts awhile back and was put the shares.
This is a small summary of my research on KSS.
Deep Discount to Book Value: Trading well below its book value of $34.25.
Low Multiples: Attractive price-to-earnings (5-7.5x), EBITDA (0.67x), free cash flow (1.38), current marketing budget (1x), and this year's capital expenditure budget (1.3x).
Significant Real Estate Holdings: Owned real estate to be in the range of $5 billion to $10 billion, referencing the SPG/BAM buyout as a comparable.
Strong Cash Flow and Earnings: Generating over $650-700 million in cash flow and posting $109 million in earnings (with an adjusted EBITDA of $1.241 billion).
Manageable Debt: While the debt schedule shows $4.7 billion in lease obligations there is 3.9 billion of this represents future lease extensions. Current ratio (1.08)
In essence, I believe the market is severely undervaluing Kohl's, presenting a compelling investment opportunity due to its strong fundamentals, valuable real estate, and the potential for a significant price increase, especially given the high short interest. Unfortunately, I jumped in before the dividend cut but it still pays a decent dividend. They are also buying back shares. Plus I am using my short term shares to further reduce my cost basis by selling covered calls against them.

Followed the volume to $SPCE today. $KSS would have made this look like child’s play if the volume was there.

KSS are coming off a double bottom where a bunch of negative press did not affect the price. They surpassed the 50 day moving average. So I see buyers coming in and the Shorts situation is just icing.

How do institutions own more than 100% of KSS?

I’m late but I don’t understand what you mean with your comment. If the nominal value is low that means that premiums are lower too, which allows you to buy more contracts for the same amount of money. I have 12.5C for 06/06. If KSS goes to $20 I will 80x my investment. You’re misinformed

How is a company ($CELH) with only 11.2% of the float shorted going to squeeze exactly?
And why rating one with 21.05% of the float ($SMR) and only 2.6 days to cover 1) having a lower juice target and squeeze score in your mind 2) standing above the rest of the pack when you have $KSS and others with such higher short interest and days to cover?
