Just to chime in! Davita has been branching out from doing just dialysis. They do all types of renal care. If lab grown kidneys ever come to fruition, there will be very little need for dialysis so now they are branching out to kidney health and investing into these medications and research for artificial kidneys. They also own at least 1 wind farm which is very lucrative. I’d say DVA has treated me well in the long term, but it is always a bit uneasy when you invest into a changing industry. JOBY may be something else to keep your eye on if you are looking for something to invest into

I get your point and it’s possible stock-wise Archer could get more hype than Joby but I don’t believe it will happen with Joby being so far ahead.
As for the timelines, I hate to just copy AI but Joby is much further ahead than you think:
Joby Aviation (JOBY)
Certification progress: Joby is in the final stages of FAA type certification.
As of the third quarter of 2025, it completed approximately 70% of Stage 4 (Testing and Analysis), with the FAA having completed 50%.
The company is now in the Type Inspection Authorization (TIA) phase, where FAA pilots will evaluate its S4 aircraft.
Commercial timeline: Joby is aiming for commercial operations to begin in 2026
Archer Aviation (ACHR)
Certification progress: Archer is well behind Joby in the FAA process.
As of August 2025, its FAA Type Certification for the Midnight eVTOL is only about 15% complete.
In 2024, the company removed its initial target of 2025 certification.
Commercial timeline: A key part of Archer's plan is to be ready for the Los Angeles Olympics in 2028, which is a key deadline for its certification.

Top 4 positions are NVDA, BRK-B, PGR, MSFT
I also invest in JPM, CEG, Rheinmettal
Small positions JOBY, LUNR, TMC
Speculative bets (ultra small weighting) on quantum computing(IONQ, RGTI, QBTS), eth treasury (SBET,BMNR)
And then of course overweight ETH as that is the future of finance.

How hot is it now? Down over 2% after hours JOBY better and achr past stock movement for this year is gross, the thing has run out

At this point, I would rather suggest JOBY over ACHR tbh.

ACHR is still trash but keeps getting pumped on every investment sub every week.
