Someone downvoting you for not being all or nothing on GME annoys me. I’ve been pro GME since 2020 and am literally all in but we are allowed to want a return on our investment after 5 years.
Anywho - yeah.. PLTR, NVDA, TSLA, SPY, VOO, literally anything would have given a better return on our investment at this point and yeah, it sucks. I’m not even at break event right now so it’s fair for us to be annoyed. Regarding PLTR, I remember WSB screaming about it when it was $8-14. The run up to $18 then $30 was crazy to see. Unfort, it’s a matter of fact that if we put the same amount of money we did into GME then into anything else I commented above we’d be doing amazing.
Do I still believe in the DD and with everything I’ve seen - yes absolutely. I definitely think this thing is still being massively manipulated and there is enormous potential. But breaking out of that manipulation looks as if it’s becoming harder and harder and being held down this low simply stinks. It’s annoying seeing my port red day after day, year after year.
Ngl, on that last run up to $34 my CCs were ITM and I wish I let them go. The stress would be gone. I could have made a few bucks and rebought some shares at $22 but not be all in.

I did the math myself. He's down 84.5% as of this moment, unless I goofed.
He's holding GME250815C00023000 based on that screenshot. He paid $1.74 per contract, they're currently worth $0.27 each. So if he sells those contracts the instant he's allowed (100% the right call) then he gets to keep 15.5% of his investment. But he probably can't sell for that price, I expect it to drop well below $0.27 at market open, but I'm not an options guy so I can't really speculate as to what. But generally these things trade at just above intrinsic value right before the strike date (today), and the intrinsic value on these calls right now is $0.
But what if he doesn't sell or can't sell? Current GME price is $22.90, he needs it to go up to >$23 to not expire worthless, and he needs to hit $24.74 to make exercising the contracts break even (lmao, as if he has that capital). If he holds them until strike, the contracts will be worth exactly their intrinsic value, which is (stock price - option price paid) \* 100.
Crychael paid $174 per contract, so if it closes at or below $23 he loses 100%. If it closes at $23.25 he loses 86%. If it closes at $24 he loses 43%. If it closes at $24.74 he loses 0%. If it makes it all the way up to $25, he makes a whopping 15%.
Genuinely a bafflingly stupid move not to sell these already. Who gives a shit about theta decay, just hang everything on needing a massive rally on a friday with no news, why not? Seriously, when he decided not to sell yesterday, he made a decision to lose *more* money unless $GME rallied at least 7.5% today, and it went down more than half a percent in after hours instead.
