Be prepared for a frustrating journey. I have impeccable credit as well and high income and they approved me for $500, 6 months later my CLI only got me to $1k. Now yet another 6 months later they've so "generously" increased me to a whopping $2k for yet another hard pull. Absolutely ridiculous, it makes me want to close the card as its use is so limited with such a low limit.

I applied on Monday and received a $500 credit limit too. However, I find it puzzling that I already own a U.S. Bank card with a limit far exceeding $500. My credit score is excellent, and I consistently pay my statement balance on time. I do all the best practices for managing credit.
The Fidelity Visa has been quite frustrating with the extremely low credit limit. Consequently, I have decided not to apply for a Credit Limit Increase (CLI) because I have a more important purchase in the future. I’m just frustrated that Fidelity is okay with Elan giving such low credit limits.
