If I wasn't WHEELing, I would buy big name BDCs and just compound off of dividends every year. Anyone worried about credit lending risk can just choose a BDC that focuses on first-lien like BXSL.

There is some middle ground lol. No idea why this is being upvoted. ARCC, UTG, THQ, UTF, BXSL, PBDC, CEFS, off the top of my head are all lower volatility than the market and would be a good fit with much higher yield than SGOV. JEPI has a beta of 0.55 and still manages over 8% yield; ARCC beta of 0.7 and a yield approaching 10% at the moment.

I would be cautions about MO.. there are fewer and fewer smokers every year. IF you were in PFE for the last 10 years you seriously underperformed the S&P.
Some low P/E Dividend Stocks worth a look: PBR (Petrobas), BBSEY (banking and insurance in Brasil), PPERY (Bank in Indonesia), VALE (muti national mining company), EC (Energy company in Columbia) ARCC (a BDC) and BXSL (another BDC).
I would also look at SBAR and ETF holding barrier notes that pays over 10%.. and has about 30% downside protection.
Most Dividend ETFs have yields of 3% to 4.5%. They have very little exposure to the hot tech stocks so in the last 3 years these have lagged the S&P...
