They can break down waste plastics (PP, PE, PS) and upgrade bitumen and renewable oils. Their technology has multiple inherent advantages compared to older methods: little pre-processing, smaller energy use, no or little post-processing, modularity. Their TAM is currently over $500B.
They are currently in the process of scale-up with a pilot plant for plastics being built and commissioned in Sep-Oct. They are collaborating with TotalEnergies and they are in Shell’s GameChanger program. They are engaging with ten or so $40B+ market cap petrochemical companies who are testing their technology.
