I had to call BPI and tell them my issue. It actually got solved after that

I'm here because BPI called me just now saying they're offering this exclusive Insurance. After I told her na I'm going to think about it and call back since I already have a similar insurance-investment plan with PruLife she got pissed??? Sinungitan ako ni atih hahaha
So I'm checking to see what the fuss is about and I found this thread. Buti na lng I didn't say yes sa offer, it sounded pretty good. I asked if this can be availed sa BPI app or if she can email me the details so I can go through it in detail/review it further and decide then. She got pissed na di daw pwede na sa phone lng tlga nila inooffer. That seemed sketchy to me, so I declined. Salamat ate ah, binadtrip mo pako 🙃

How can we log in if our phone is not registered? Or even if it’s registered and still not connecting. The steps you sent is so imposible for us. BPI and BDO are doing the same. They are giving us a hard time. US bank apps anywhere you go you can easily access your acct safely. Tinalo pa ibang bansa sa kahigpitan na Wala namang malalaking deposits. 

I’m with BPI too and I get free transfers because I’m a preferred client - you just need 100k each in 3 types of products so maganda kung you also do your personal banking here. Since I have payroll I’m enrolled in bizlink para excel na lang ang payroll libre pa ang payroll accounts.

If you have other accounts with BPI with large amounts they won’t bat an eye.

As another commenter already mentioned, BPI offers free InstaPay transfers for Preferred and Gold clients (but with a daily limit). This includes payments made using QRPh (i.e. Gcash, Maya, etc.). You also get priority handling at any BPI branch plus an RM who can assist you with certain transactions. Also, based on my experience transacting with different people (not a business owner, but due to personal reasons I make bank transfers to and receive bank transfers from people quite often), BPI is one of the (if not the) most common banks used by the people I’ve met. It might be helpful for your customers and suppliers if you have the same bank as them as it sometimes means lower/no fees.

No existing account with BPI, but I also plan to open a peso savings account.

Steer away from BanKo if laging kang mag in and out ng pera sa business mo. BPI ka na lang for your day to day operations. You'd get preferred status if maka 1M ka in TRB. The free instapay transfers will help you A LOT if dami kang transaction through digital transfers.
BDO per se is not a bad bank, but based on comments, reviews, and just "public rants" on banks, BDO always tops the list in my circle and feed in the last 36 months. Meron din cases from BPI, Metrobank, etc but BDO is way up top.
PNB has high instapay fees. In my case, hirap puntahan kasi onti lang branches, not flexible in my city.
Problem with Landbank is at certain times of the month, mahirapan ka siguro mag transact both OTC and even ATM kasi all government assistance and salary of servicemen ay dito na bank. Not sure if may nice online app sila.
No comment and no experience with PSBank and Metrobank.

On top of business savings purposes, you should also look into additional perks such as Credit Cards, loans, and bancassurance. Personally, just go with BPI.

For context I owned a sole proprietorship business. Plan ko sana mag terms with my supplier since they required a cheque as payment. Ang available na banks sa area ko ay Banko (closest), BPI, PNB, BDO, Land bank, PSbank at Metrobank. Alin dito yung best at may experience kayo?

I have all for diff purpose.
Seabank - mas madali magtransfer sakin before kasi walang fee yung cash-in pero ngayon need na BPI > Shopee/Vybe > Seabank)
Maya - you can boost your interest rate here, ang usage niya sakin is time deposit/goals
Gotyme - i usually use this if may international travels
