Ontarios grid is over 90% renewables or nuclear. Qubec is almost 100% hydro, BC has a high percentage of hydro as well.

Even if it is true, there’s a line from the movie “Daybreakers” that comes to mind.

Gold has been currency since at least 700 BC. It’s not going anywhere.

Tell that to all the central governments that are buying gold. You do realize jewelry demand is not the main factor driving gold prices right? It’s inflation, dollar strength, central bank buying, etc.
Next time you think paper money is worth more, ask Zimbabwe. Value in gold has existed since BC

Copper Quest Exploration Inc. (CSE: CQX) (CSE: CQX) has entered into an option agreement to acquire 100% of the past-producing Alpine Gold Mine in the mining-friendly West Kootenay region of British Columbia. With a 2018 NI 43-101 inferred resource of **268,000 tonnes at 16.52 g/t Au (142,000 oz Au)**, a substantial surface stockpile, and multiple untested gold-bearing vein systems, Alpine presents meaningful near-term and long-term upside.
The structure of the acquisition — including share issuance, reimbursement costs, and a manageable NSR — aligns well with shareholder interests. If Copper Quest executes successfully, Alpine could emerge as one of Western Canada’s next high-grade underground revival stories.
**Copper Quest Project Highlights**
Copper Quest (CSE: CQX) is positioning itself as an emerging exploration company focused on high‑grade opportunities within Tier‑1 Canadian jurisdictions. With the Alpine acquisition, the company now anchors itself to a project supported by **268,000 tonnes @ 16.52 g/t Au (142,000 oz Au)** under the 2018 NI 43‑101 resource. The site includes **\~1,650 metres of clean, dry underground workings**, a **24,000‑tonne high‑grade surface stockpile**, and a vein system where only **\~300 metres of a \~2 km strike length** have been historically drilled or developed. These fundamentals give Copper Quest immediate exploration runway and the potential for rapid resource expansion.
As the company integrates Alpine as its flagship, the combination of high‑grade geology, existing infrastructure, and extensive undrilled vein targets positions CQX to fast‑track value creation relative to early‑stage explorers.

**WHY THIS MATTERS**
**The Gold Market Backdrop (2025)**
Gold continues to trade near record territory in 2025. Spot prices recently hovered around **US$4,060 per ounce**, maintaining a gain of more than **50% year-over-year**, fueled by persistent inflation pressure, central bank accumulation, and heightened geopolitical risk. Analysts now note that with spot gold recently reaching **US$4,141/oz** (Nov 25, 2025), projections have shifted: institutions expect gold to remain above **US$4,000/oz** through late 2025–2026, supported by persistent inflation, strong central‑bank buying, and ongoing geopolitical tensions. In this environment, high-grade underground projects like Alpine can see significantly enhanced economics, improved financing conditions, and stronger investor interest.
The Alpine Gold Mine stands out for three reasons:
**1. High-grade gold:** Historical and modern work demonstrate consistently strong grades across several veins.
**2. Existing underground development:** Over **1,650 metres of underground workings** — reducing future capital needs.
**3. Exploration upside:** Multiple vein systems — including Black Prince, Cold Blow, Gold Crown, and King Solomon — have seen limited drilling but display strong gold potential.

**2018 NI 43-101 RESOURCE ESTIMATE**
Alpine hosts an inferred resource of:
* **268,000 tonnes @ 16.52 g/t gold**
* **Contained ounces:** \~142,000 oz Au This places Alpine firmly in the **high-grade underground** category, where grade often compensates for smaller tonnage.
**WHAT COPPER QUEST IS BUYING**
Under the option agreement, CQX can acquire **100% interest** in the Alpine property. The deal terms include:
* **14,177,517 CQX shares** issued at **$0.175/share**
* **$225,000** reimbursed to the vendor for past exploration expenses
* **2% NSR**, with **1% buyback for $1M**
* **24-month escrow** on vendor-held shares
* **45 days of due diligence** This structure is typical for Canadian underground gold revival deals and heavily aligns seller incentives with shareholder outcomes.
**A PAST-PRODUCING GOLD MINE WITH MODERN POTENTIAL**
The Alpine area has seen sporadic mining and development for decades, leaving valuable geological data and underground access behind.
Notable assets include:
* **Multiple known high‑grade veins**
* **Road-accessible infrastructure** If the surface stockpile grades match historical numbers, it could represent meaningful near-term cash flow.
https://preview.redd.it/eul84y13v65g1.png?width=896&format=png&auto=webp&s=e0f133f862de78a7f526ef89a74b9e3f199e51e0
**STRONG REGIONAL GEOLOGY**
The West Kootenay region of BC is known for:
* Long mining history
* Strong permitting environment
* Excellent infrastructure (roads, power, labour) This reduces timeline risk — a major advantage over remote exploration projects.
**MULTIPLE TARGETS BEYOND THE MAIN VEIN SYSTEM**
The Alpine Mine is just the starting point.
Copper Quest will gain access to several lightly explored gold-bearing veins:
* **Black Prince**
* **Cold Blow**
* **Gold Crown**
* **King Solomon** Historic sampling and limited drilling confirm that these veins carry high‑grade gold similar to Alpine — but they have not been tested at scale.
**Drilling & Historical Grade Data**
While no new drilling has been completed by Copper Quest yet, the 2018 NI 43‑101 resource is based on historical underground drilling, chip sampling, and limited surface drilling concentrated along approximately 300 metres of the main Alpine vein system. The historical work outlined:
* **High‑grade underground samples consistently exceeding 10 g/t Au**, with select vein areas returning significantly higher values.
* **Only \~15% of the known vein strike length** has been drill‑tested or developed underground.
* **Multiple parallel veins remain untested**, meaning the current 142,000 oz inferred resource represents only a fraction of the total geological potential. These facts indicate that Alpine’s current resource is constrained by limited historic drilling rather than geology — positioning future drilling as a major catalyst for resource growth. This presents a pipeline of discovery potential.

**WHY THIS COULD BE A 10X-TYPE SETUP**
**✔ High-grade resource**
Grades above 10 g/t Au command premium valuations — Alpine’s 16.5 g/t is well above average.
**✔ Near-term production optionality**
The existing stockpile + underground workings significantly reduce the time and capital needed to begin generating value.
**✔ Multi-zone expansion potential**
Each secondary vein represents a potential doubling or tripling of the resource if drilled properly.
**✔ Jurisdictional safety**
British Columbia is one of the world’s best places to develop a mine.
**✔ Tight deal structure**
The vendor’s restricted shares show confidence — and limit selling pressure.
**WHAT TO WATCH NEXT**
The main catalysts for shareholders and new investors:
1. **Completion of the 45-day due diligence period**
2. **Sampling/assay results from the surface stockpile**
3. **Initial drill program targeting resource expansion**
4. **Updated NI 43-101 resource estimate**
5. **Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA)** Any confirmation of high-grade continuity could rerate CQX rapidly.
**INVESTOR OUTLOOK**
If Copper Quest successfully closes the acquisition and executes efficiently, the Alpine Gold Mine could evolve from a forgotten past producer into a modern high-grade revival. The combination of grade, infrastructure, and exploration runway is rare — especially in a premier jurisdiction.
For investors seeking asymmetric upside in the junior gold sector, CQX’s Alpine acquisition is worth keeping on the radar.

Again.
As of now no need for VPN. This is BC. Who knows what is going on in other provinces. Because every one tries to stand out nowdays.
If, wallet providers ( they serve as a medium for accessing this mini programs ), if they start to act weird, then use VPN, it usually solves the problem.
When using mini programs through wallets you are a citizen of the world, but depending on ip you are using at the moment you may get restriction notice.
So if you glued to your current location and never get out of your province then this option is not for you.

Im an exploration geologist working within Canadas west coast and arctic mainly in copper porphyry deposits.
> These are borderline pump n dumps.
They are risky for sure, but junior mining definitely fits the role of a high risk high reward investments. This would ideally be a small portion of your portfolio. Larger resource companies also need us to take on the risk so we can be potentially developed in the future and enter production. Mineral exploration isnt a sustainable practice for large companies like Teck. But it being a pump and dump is definitely untrue, were bounded by law to be as accurate as possible, its almost impossible to mislead or lie about results especially in the post BRE-X scandal era.
> The mining industry , at least in Canada , is SMOTHERED in regulations and sticky fingers in the pot.
I agree, regulations have made things more difficult in the past few years especially. Our government isnt very well equipped at handling permits currently. First nations involvement also increases cost/uncertainty significantly.
> There is also millions of $ in drill results. This isn’t much a guessing game anymore. They know exactly what’s in the ground, and what it costs to get it out.
There is soo much more to this than you think. You have to consider pit designs, geometry, recovery/refractory rates as well structure/mass density. What your describing is a resource estimate and a feasibility study. Both of these reports can take millions of dollars to complete with sufficient drilling and analysis.
> There isn’t one chance of a mining company just magically finding a billion $ worth of gold.
The truth is geology has so many variables, that it is nearly impossible to create a silver bullet model that can describe where every deposit will be. The science itself is still in its infancy, and our current porphry models still arent able to describe our findings on the BC coast. In other words, its extremely likely there is more to find and discover. Every year, companies are finding new proven resources.
> They’ll take your investment $ , buy equipment and hire people have some fun for a couple years and go broke.
The large majority of money raised is through flowthrough shares for this very reason. This money has to be spent on drilling, people, ect to do actual work in the field. You cant buy much, 95% of our equipment is rented as we legally cant use shareholders money to purchase assets.
> To be honest I’d rather invest in the drillers than the mining companies. They are pure profit and a real business
Drillers wouldn’t make much without investment in junior mining/exploration. Also most of them are privately owned.

I actually tougth its like a tulip bubble and theres alot of same. But just a week ago I understood the difference and the multiple needs for this, so the needs will not vanish like with the tulip bubble.
For me BC feels a little unethical to own because of the criminals uding it and cuz of the energy consumption, I but ended up taking small position.
Dont know what will be the end game with the bitcoin and what will be the alternative crypto that I think will come at some point. Very interesting to observe and dig deeper.

Nothing. First of all it is a massively volatile asset. Could easily still go up or down 20 % before christmas.
But they needed to prop it up. If Bitcoin remained depressed, MSTR share prices would continued to drop. That would have meant all the leveraged MSTR ETFs would have been in trouble. And if those had to liquidate assets MSTR would drop significantly faster and then they might have to sell assets and then there goes the whole ballgame.
Point is, the whole schabang is basically the subprime MBS crisis on speed. As of now however they are to small in size to wobble the market to much.
So yes, It was likely an intervention. Some big hedge funds have put bets on retail´s stupid... I mean on MSTR.
I loved how the guy on The Close talked this stuff up, claiming Bitcoin had to drop to 12k or so before MSTR was in trouble, because they had more than 50 billion in assets and only 700 million in yearly interest payments. Yes, genius, but they have only 70 million or so in actual revenue from the remnants of the business Strategy once was. Bitcoin does not pay dividends, pal. And if they don´t trade BC, that means, they would be out of cash in no time without selling fresh stock.
And it is kind of cute, how this is framed as "dilution." They take equity of existing shareholders and sell it to new shareholders in order to pay a dividend for their old shareholders and the costs of business. If the only business that exists is new shareholders paying the interest of the old stakeholders, than there is a very much different word for that.
Well, not my problem. If nothing else in this case the cards are very much on the table.
