I got my popcorn pass today also. It’s instant revenue for AMC and it will save me money over the course of the year.
I call that a win win 🦍💪

GME, AMC. Lost a lot on the former, made a tiny amount back on the latter.

Q4 is going to be a monster at the box office 🚀 AMC should rebound nicely off the worst third quarter since Covid. AMC only down 4% today where its core group is slightly mixed with Cinemark down 2%, HYMC up 1% and fartcoin down 1.5%. Overall holding strong and ready to challenge for $2.35 tomorrow.

Beyond Meat (BYND)'s dramatic surge today was no coincidence. I've combed through news and data to pinpoint the true drivers behind this short-term price explosion, offering insights for those seeking near-term opportunities.
1. Classic Meme Momentum + Short Squeeze
BYND surged over sixfold in the past three days, with media directly labeling it a new meme stock phenomenon.
Its inclusion in meme-themed ETFs triggered massive inflows from retail investors and short-term capital.
2. Market Sentiment Directly Compared to GME/AMC Pattern
Reports directly label this a new GameStop-style rally, characterized by social media momentum, retail investor energy, and hedge fund positioning.
This is precisely why it has attracted exceptional capital and media attention today.
3. Short Squeeze Continues to Intensify
Short sellers remain aggressively positioned against BYND, but the reversal has triggered a counter-squeeze.
This suggests volatility may not yet be over.
This surge stems not from fundamental recovery but from classic event-driven + sentiment-fueled trading
Financial reports emphasize this rally resembles speculation rather than genuine performance improvement.
For short-term traders:
Opportunities exist, but this is quintessential sentiment-driven trading—not a stable stock choice.
I will continue tracking volatile stocks like BYND
I've created a free group chat (not a paid course/subscription) focusing on:

"Oh no criticism that I can't handle." When youre down 92% its not logical to sell. Trust me I want to, but can't at this point. Rather AMC just go belly up then I'll be able to write it off.

Had some AMC stock during the post-GameStop ride. Picked up $70, at like $7 a share. Eventually sold it after a couple months, made like $25 profit, didn’t expect much. Could have held for those $30 a share profits. Still regret not being patient enough. Could have turned that $25 into $250 or more, but I’ll live.

I don't have shares because I sold a long time ago and made money because I'm not stupid.
I did take my amazing profits from AMC and put them into Nvidia though. Because once again, I'm not stupid.

You have been the only one who has mentioned Zootopia. I said ticket sales were down 32% from last year.
And again, I never read your article. You are hyping AMC because of this movie when in reality, the weekend was not that good.

Went to Zootopia for 12:40pm on Friday and we shared the row with two other families - something I haven't seen for a long long time at AMC in my mid-sized city. Half of the theater was full, including the front rows which were usually not occupied.

So the popcorn costs AMC exactly $0 with no overhead expenses now? No costs to make it or bag it or for the bags or anything. Just 100% pure profit? I’m starting to question the business degrees here.

People say that like it was so easy to get a million dollars from a sucker and that then blind luck is the only piece involved in it. Again, just wild stuff from the confidently incorrect crowd.
You should go ahead and short GME since Cohen is so incompetent instead of valiantly fight the thought battles. Here's my monthly AMC short :)

Seems like the least $AMC could do would be to provide free popcorn to the retail investors that saved its ass and were then promptly rewarded by getting screwed by AA and MGMT while insiders sold at profit.

In 2020, I had a gut feeling that movie theaters would explode when lockdown ended. You know, people rushing back to normal.
So I bought 305 shares of $AMC at $2.91 a share.
In early 2021 I sold them when the price reached $9.50, thinking I had made a nice little profit.
Guess what ticker r/WallStreetBets decided to "take to the moon" just a few weeks later?
Missed out on a $72 peak.
Still pissed about it to this day.
Also mildly regret not buying more than 9 shares of $GOOGL when it was $169 earlier this year. Definitely should have committed. But I'm still happy with what I snagged

These types of posts always remind me of that episode of American Dad where Roger convinces Steve to invest in SJP, but it turns out he meant Sarah Jessica Parker because of some movie she was going to be hot in.
It does not matter if a movie is good or great or a box office blast. It doesn't matter if 50 billion people go to see it. The needle will not move the stock price up past $3. It will not happen. This orange has been squeezed. It's a dead stock. It's toxic. The stock market is not a reflection of company value. Maybe it was once, but not anymore. This is all meaningless and mindless drivel. I should have gotten out when I was breaking even. It's a terrible stock. Maybe HYMC' value due to their gold holdings will drive up just enough that all us suckers can get something back from all the stress we've been through. AMC was a terrible play.
Bring on the downvotes. They won't hurt nearly as much as the 8k I've sunk to this turd.

By flogging I assume you mean going long. By definition flogging would imply shorting it, but I think you meant going long.
$AMC has two main problems: debt and naked shorts that have been covering off-exchange and in dark pools so as not to raise the price by their covering.
The CEO is doing a great job reducing the debt through refinancing, investing, and the creative offerings at the theaters. The problem is the enormous amount of debt they are holding as the worldwide credit crunch tightens its grip.
There is glimmer of light in the abyss of short covering naked shorts. There will be a vote at the shareholder meeting on 10DEC25 about doubling the number of authorized shares. If the vote passes (it likely will), the new authorized shares will likely find their way to the float pretty quick. That will greatly dilute the influence of the naked shorts. They will have a much smaller slice of the pie chart, thereby reducing their influence.
In the longer run, the debt will be the larger obstacle. They do have a big gold investment and in tight economies, hard assets are king.
