I created a post few weeks back about one of my basic methods for early detection. I’m still getting a lot of questions about basic DD from newer people here so I am reposting this for everyone.
By no means this is a suggestion to enter $YASS.
Scanner settings/Resources for short AH Into PM opportunities:

I’m interested not in the top tickers with massive volumes but the rest that are positive with raising volume. You need to find something ready to pop before the mainstream.
**Big RV volume - Catalyst - Short float - Retail hype - Bottomed out** is what I am looking for.
We need attractive price entry point, at 0.075 **$YAAS** looks interesting as a example:
After clicking on a ticker that caught your eye here is what I’m looking at (Right image).
- **Market cap** (smaller better)
- **Shares float** (smaller better)
- **Short float/interest** (situational but anything above 5-10% is a plus)
- **RSI** (Below 30) oversold
- **RV**:heart: (Above 1.5).
- The example is bottomed out after some catastrophic events, also is a scary :flag_cn: stock.
- Statistics showing really high short rate so I would check 2 more sources to confirm a medium number if differs. ( *List provided below* ).
- In most cases I personally like to double check different outlets to confirm all the information.

- Next, and I can not stress this enough, always check the www.sec.gov filings to understand the company’s behavior and intents, catalysts.
- Here I notice fresh Sep 8 filing: **6.0M underwritten offering closure**: https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1964946/000164117225026816/form424b4.htm bullish in itself.

- Next step I check social market sentiment Reddit/StockTwits/Twitter, to see if there is interest.
**Retail** is no longer “Dumb money” and sometimes that’s anticipated and accounted for, but retail is a force to reckon with in buying pressure with Pennie’s and drives the volume.
In this case I don’t care for long term/potential/growth/finances, I don’t even know what company does Tbh because I didn’t even look.
- Furthermore I will research possible upcoming events that will create a buying pressure. Most importantly I will watch how it will behave in AH and trends.
- Sometimes in some cases I set a buy order above the trend so if it starts climbing it gets triggered.
- Most importantly never FOMO and never chase. Realistic tolerable SL and Limit sells. Greed kills. I will update this with more information in time.

**NEVERs** :
- Not do your own DD.
- Hold China penny stocks for any long periods of time(one of my cardinal rules).
- Enter Risky plays into AH, I cannot tell you how many times I was SEC filling slammed around 4PM for a rug pull.
- Buy stock on a climb without resistance, wait for pullback(FOMO).
- Regret taking profits, you already won.
- **NOT SET STOP LOSSES** , if anybody ever suggests you doing this you should block them immediately.
