$VICL was a great buy yesterday, Im pushing it a bit and kept my shares from yesterday into today. Not sure if i should sell them quick though, as a few analysts are saying VICL should increase back over $2 the next few months.

$PRKR bottom here, end of May launched some sort of WiFi extender, May take entry in hopes of strong sales report for their recent product launch...

Used a daytrade for VICL $1.08->$1.15

VICL dropped on Monday after a phase 2 trial of a herpes program failing to meet expectations. Owner buying VICL could be seen as trying to keep the stock from falling below $1 and risking delisting. I'm staying away.

Why would I exercise the option to buy for 2 if it didn’t make it to 2? Yes I am carrying two long positions, mostly because I would have bought more than 150 shares at market but I’m saving most of my cash for something else. The $30 with of options is something I’m quite willing to lose but gives me additional VICL exposure during the period I want it.

What’s the VICL news?

Options are cool. But just to clarify, you can only buy VICL for $2 if VICL hits $2 on or before Dec. 21. If it doesn't reach $2 by Dec. 21 then your $30 investment goes to $0. In reality, if VICL starts moving towards $2 the value of your option contracts will increase and you can sell those contracts for profits rather than actually buying 600 shares at $2 and then selling those on the market. Keep in mind that the $5 you paid for the options effectively means you're hoping VICL goes above $2.05 per share rather than just $2. Also, if you are buying calls why are you also buying 150 shares? You're basically taking two different types of long positions on the same stock. There are legitimate reasons for doing so, but I just wanna make sure you understand that if VICL moves down from here you're gonna be holding two bags.
