Good job. I'd toss ARKK and substitute XSD or one of the other semiconductor ETFs.
I'd also suggest having one share of XLK and QQQ to just compare your whole portfolio against. QQQ could be a stand-in for META/GOOG/TSLA/AMZN/COST and XLK for AAPL/MSFT/NVDA/AMD. Longterm it is a good idea to have an industry base ETF (like QQQ and XLK for "tech") and then go heavier with individual stocks. You kinda do that by hoding SPY, but it is a pretty small part of your portfolio at this point.
Obviously you like tech, and so do I. Having some diversity beyond tech, like KO, is good but don't worry too much about it until you have at least $xx,xxx in the market.

I am like 98% TSLA these days but have a small leap position in ENVX and some shares and short term plus long term calls in EOSE, two different battery storage companies.
A few of the Megapack gigachads that were run out of the “Tesla Twitter community” uncovered lots of great dd, which is how I was first turned on to them both.
Anyone else following either of these companies?
My heart is with Tezler but me thinks there’s money to be made with some other companies that will be able to take advantage of IRA.

I also heard Big Tech was serving as a flight to safety - maybe not as much as Crypto stocks and to some extent Gold - but yes. As far as the future - you can listen to 15 analysts and you will get 15 different predictions. But, both Dalio and and Jeremy Grantham believe there is more pain to come. Not sure in what form that will be (another Black Swan event or perhaps a slow grind as investors begin to wrap their heads around the shrinking margins companies will face in the future) but - that both say another 20 - 50% could come out of the market. That said - if you have a timeline more than 10 years out - I wouldn't worry about it. Pick some very good stocks, buy and hold. I was strongly considering Meta when it dropped below a 100 and TSLA when it dropped to 100 and passed on both. Kicking myself now - but oh well. I would consider picking up some good stocks and start dollar cost averaging in. Buy dips and if the market suddenly tanks - put everything left into those same stocks. Buffet isn't a fan of selling his holdings (he will but not too often). He takes all the dividends from his diverse holdings and uses that cash to pick up stocks on the cheap or add to his holdings on dips. It's a great strategy and really quite conservative/safe.

Yield comes at a cost. Honestly, compare its performance to TSLA and you can see it's dropping value faster than it's paying out dividends.

If TSLA is underperforming so much, my fear is that someone truly knows something.

Hello new friend. We're better off for sure. Today was a great TSLA morning lol

On the main Canadian investing sub, it's extremely common and I think that one reason is that people on Reddit hold just a few dozen stocks in their heads at any time. Those stocks are basically whatever company is most discussed, usually with a share price that has recently gone up, a recent news story, or an attractive narrative (TSLA, green energy). Those stocks are hyped and have bad expected returns by the time they're discussed on Reddit. People lose money on one, they feel like they have to react on the same ticker to mitigate the loss, and averaging down makes it them feel better. There's a bunch of other copes, like how they might be down, but at least they're getting the dividends, another classic investing mistake, especially in Canada. It's just the effect of trading being extremely available + social media + an ignorance of returns.

If Elon is an Ape then the news alone will initiate the rocket launch. It would be the biggest FU to Mayo man too because Elon has been beholden to him because he is a significant investor in Tesla. Mayo man is also behind the original shorts of TSLQ which was the foundation of naked shorting activity against TSLA. This would be some 5D chess moves from Elon if he uses Mayo mans own criminal network to destroy the system it's built on and replace it with a different system.
