The first rule I learned before I even began trading options was that I should close an operation no more than 1DTE if assignement was not wanted. Now that I know better, I am perfect fine collecting 70% of premium and moving forward. That famous TSLA aftermarket assignement warned me.

If you think about shorting ASTS => beware it's a cult like TSLA.

I agree, but China was a terrible too 20 years ago. Look how China has progressed. I think TSLA is laying the groundwork for the same thing happening in India. This is one for the future.

At one point I was down $30k on TSLA and never sold. Waited a few months and I made my money back and then some. It all depends if you believe in the stock. There's times I cut losses and there's time I don't. SMCI is another one I've held and lost a big amount on and was able to profit in the end.

Not sure where this “it’s extremely hard to beat the market, if the pros can’t do it, what makes you think you can?” Narrative comes from, I ain’t a pro but easily beat the market for last 4 years by rotating my profits through PLTR, NVDA, NBIS, TSLA, SATL, RKLB, GOOGL, it wasn’t anywhere near hard to do.

Both are in great put positions, but Tesla has less moat. Tesla the safer bet. No real news from either to prompt anything. TSLA investors are moving out to go into SpaceX anyway.

OK, I'll play and go first. I bought puts Thurs before close for NFLX since I bought shares on the way down I am curious if I am going to add or get out of my position at market open. Also have some MSFT calls and IGV. MSTR might be on the up and up and PLTR and TSLA. I closed out all my calls in them last Friday the gap up was too great not to take profit eventhough many expire this Friday. Will get back in and be interesting if we open gap down and there's a bounce with trillions of money in cash that didn't get back in last week.

100% no way! I wouldn't even buy spacex for a while. I'd bet they are going to merge with TSLA within a few years as well, so just holding will be fine.

That's silly since SpaceX is buying all the cars they don't sell. TSLA be going to the moon.
