With spaceX, there is actually risk of a quick momentum rally wiping out your entire position I feel (look at TSLA history).
With NFLX, I feel there is absolutely no chance you would see some mania rally that could wipe you out.

So I've been running a quant trading system on Binance Futures for a while now. Nothing fancy, just pulling market data, running some signals, executing trades. It was stable. Like, boringly stable.
Then about a month ago it started crashing. Every. Single. Day. Same time — around 9:30 PM my time (I'm in Asia). I'm staring at the logs thinking it's a memory leak or something, spent two days debugging before I realized what was actually happening.
Binance has been quietly listing a ton of USDⓈ-M perpetual contracts that track US stocks, ETFs, and commodities. TSLA, NVDA, AAPL, SPY, gold, you name it. And the volume on these things is insane. My data pipeline was built to handle normal crypto futures throughput — now it's getting hit with nearly 3x the data volume it was designed for, and it keeps growing every day.
9:30 PM Asia time = 9:30 AM Eastern = US market open. That's when the floodgates open. One second everything's fine, next second there's this massive wall of trades
The kicker? I pulled some numbers and during that window, these TradFi perps account for roughly 70% of all trading activity. Seventy percent. On a crypto exchange. Let that sink in.
I fixed the immediate crash (bigger message queue, batch processing, the usual), but it got me thinking about what this actually means. Crypto degens are now using Binance to trade Apple and Tesla with 10x leverage and USDT settlement, 24/7 including weekends. No KYC stock brokerage account needed, just your existing Binance setup.
Is anyone else seeing this from the data side? I can't be the only one whose infrastructure is getting wrecked by this. And honestly... are we even still a "crypto" market at this point or is Binance just becoming a leveraged everything-exchange that happens to run on USDT?

I’ve been trading perps across a few DEXs lately and wanted to share how these three actually compare, especially for anyone interested in trading stocks and commodities onchain, not just crypto.
**Hyperliquid**
The giant. does around $21B in daily volume, deepest liquidity by far, and honestly the execution is CEX-level. taker fees sit around 0.045%. they've added tokenized US equities (NVDA, TSLA, AAPL) and even pre-IPO perps like OpenAI and Anthropic which is wild. downside for me is it's crypto-native to the core, and onboarding is wallet-only. if you want the deepest books, this is the one.
**Aster**
Binance-backed, multichain (BNB, ETH, Solana, Arbitrum). their thing is leverage, up to 1001x if you're insane enough. fees are low, around 0.005% in Pro mode. they've got tokenized stocks and metals too. solid platform, but the ultra-high leverage focus feels more like a casino than a trading venue to me. no KYC, wallet connect.
**Canborsa**
The smallest of the three but the one I keep coming back to for RWAs specifically. it's built on Canton Network instead of the usual chains, which is the institutional privacy chain that DTCC and Goldman actually use. what got me is the onboarding, you can sign up with email or an X account, not just a wallet, so it's the easiest to get into if you're not a hardcore DeFi native. up to 30x leverage, tokenized stocks (including SpaceX), gold, silver, oil, S&P 500, crypto.
The points program is also the most active of the three right now. you earn on trading volume with multipliers stacking on top, plus quests. feels early enough that farming actually matters.
**Summary:**
* want the deepest liquidity → Hyperliquid
* want max leverage → Aster
* want the easiest onboarding + RWA focus + a points program worth farming early → Canborsa
I've been splitting between Hyperliquid for size and Canborsa for the RWA stuff and the points. not financial advice obviously
Anyone else trading RWAs onchain? Curious which venue you settled on and why

I mean, I share your sentiments but TSLA is a stock that loves to fucks people over. Anytime a post about it gains traction you can bet it will do the opposite.

We will continue to have a rise this week with earnings reporting from GEV, T, GOOG, TXN, IBM, NOW and TSLA. Anything AI reporting is going to be positive for hyperscalers, expect 35 to 40 tomorrow. SSMCI earnings will send this parabolic. Hold on tight

Yeah and every short just adds fuel, same as TSLA thing will probably explode at some point, I would buy calls but if I do it will go to zero. If I buy an option it fly's the opposite direction.

The pricing of TSLA has not been based on just autos, so you’ve been enjoying the growth of your investments because of those things you’re not comfortable investing in.

Ladder is getting pulled up boys. No more worrying about the next TSLA, AMD, etc. It will be found for you (and bought before you too).
If you haven't made it yet...well...I hope you like the taste of the subscription-based insect food product you'll soon be living off of.
