This was a surprise to me as well. I've followed SpaceX closely as it has some relevance to my TSLA investment, and this is the first time I'm hearing that Palantir owns or owned SPCX stock.
I am hoping that when Palantir files its 10-Q for Q2 '26, they will disclose some details on when and why they acquired equity in SpaceX.

A lot of software exposure; but if you believe that AI fears are overblown then fair enough - just be careful on that.
Are SPCX and TSLA more speculative positions because I am not sure they really fit valuation-wise.
The stocks seem fairly solid on the whole but perhaps diversification is lacking...

What do you guys think of my current portfolio?

I’m 24, and am trying to build long term wealth by stock-picking. My idols are Warren Buffett, Peter Lynch and Bill Ackman.
Since 2023, my IRR is 29% p.a.
My investment philosophy is to own high-quality businesses with durable moats, while actively reallocating capital based on internally evaluated relative value. I maintain long-term theses, add when conviction strengthens, trim when risk-reward compresses, and keep liquidity to exploit value dislocations without being forced to sell another good asset.

Ever hear of this guy Elon? Or his little car company Tesla? I mean...16 years ago was a good time to buy TSLA off that CEO's manic hype train BS.

SPCX/TSLA at least 28.5% is the ratio that Elon Musk needs to keep majority for voting rights in case of a merge, thats why he dumps TSLA

\>economically illiterate
Lmao you mean the trillion+ dollar market cap company with the same revenue as Chipotle with a market cap of $75-$80billion?
Sounds like the same TSLA regards buying in to the FSD talk for the last decade “Full self driving will be here next year bro. Trust me bro. One more year bro. It’s right there. We don’t need more sensors on the car bro.”

Im thinking that stocks like this - PLTR, TSLA, and SPCX - are top of my "buy put options" list as we get near end of bull market.
As soon as index drops 15-20% off peak, these insanely overvalued hype meme stocks will drop 85-90%.

TSLA as a stock is a stark reminder that the market can stay regarded longer than you stay unregarded. Things' been overpriced by about 10 times for over 5 years

Those TSLA puts are an especially poor choice to sell right now, I think. Not only did you sell puts on one of the most overvalued stocks in the market, expiring in what is historically the worst performing month of the year, but you did it when the IV percentile is only 27, and dwarfed by the recent spike in HV. If you're not filtering by IV and its relation to HV, you should be. Those are a risky play for relatively little premium.

The mag 7 were not the 7 companies with the largest revenue. Only 3 of them are even in the top 10 for revenue. They were the 7 companies whose market cap growth accounted for almost all of the market's growth when the phrase was coined in 2023. TSLA added about $800 Billion in market cap growth the prior years. So it was an exact science. You just didn't know the science.
Broadcom would be one of those companies now but the term is pretty outdated. The Mag 7 impact on the stock market has been diluted quite a bit because they haven't had the same growth the last few years. While other companies like Walmart, Broadcom, Eli Lilly, Micron, Chase, AMD, etc have accounted for a much larger part of the market growth than when the Mag 7 were dominating growth.
