I'd hold off for now. The $1.5 trillion idea has not been approved. Also, the dividend restriction hasn't been implemented and probably won't be. I assumed this was all just market manipulation so some politicians and insiders could make a quick profit.
I'd put SIGA and EBS on your radar. They're BioDefense companies and make most of their money via government contracts. They deal with smallpox, anthrax, and ebola vaccines/therapeutics. Government funding for biodefense was hit hard under the current administration, but the next administration will likely pickup funding for these projects.
I don't own either of those right now, I'm focused on energy and factory/production automation for 2026.
