As a result, you may not see this reflected in your account immediately.
For those curious, RTC, also known as a non-dividend distribution, is a return of some or all of a client's investment through the reduction of the position's cost basis. RTC can occur for various reasons, but generally occurs when a company does not have any accumulated or current year earnings and profits to distribute. As a result, you receive a non-dividend distribution.
