I picked up the same amount of contracts I normally do for the shares I have. The MSTX1 call says the underlying asset is MSTX.

That memo is from last years ninja dividend.
When I went to sell options for MSTX, it said 40 (adj) and it was 10x higher than normal. They sold immediately too.

MSTX1 are adjusted contracts from the last special dividend.  Google "OCC memo MSTX". The deliverable is 100 shares plus 1400ish in cash, hence the higher price. Your broker should not allow you to open new positions in MSTX1, as they are usually set to close only.  You want the MSTX option chain.

WTF is going on with MSTX?

Anyone know what is going on with MSTX calls?
I normally do covered calls weekly with MSTX, I priced it too close this week, and took the opportunity to get out for a small 10% gain in case it runs. Out o curiosity I looked at next week and there is a (adj) price that is like 10x+ the normal premium.
I can't find any news that would clarify it. I did see my covered call is showing up as MSTX1 instead of MSTX.
I do know a few new MST based ETF came out, but I can't see anything that is related to MSTX.
