Riding the BULL for 10.34 a share. Wondering if I should get HOOD too just to have exposure in some exchanges

do you guys keep shares and options in separate accounts? how do you even set up a second instance on $HOOD?

Whilst I get your point about chasing, do bear in mind that FOMOs are high on momentum, so by simply excluding all FOMOs, you would excluding some solid short term gains. Bear in mind that HOOD, HIMS, all quantum names, space names, nuclear names were considered FOMOs last year.

Hey Lintsowner. For the question, I am not sure if you meant tickers on HOOD specifically or all my positions that don't have covered calls. For HOOD, I have all covered calls deployed. I will have to get back to you on the total tickers and which don't have covered calls. This actually might be a good thing to report weekly.
Good work pulling in $450. Smart to react with caution on the Iran/Israel situation. I am sitting back and watching it play out too.

I am a retiring lawyer. It never occurred to me that any of those skills are relevant aside from maybe I can read and do math but those have nothing to do with my career.
I think you have to start with some system though to both detect and then analyze each stock that passes your initial criteria. Some have mentioned looking at min market caps and min volumes to exclude many securities. For me I look at CNBC, Yahoo Finance, Vectorvest and Seeking Alpha. On SA, I have the premium package as I feel $240 for a year is great value for a bunch of reasons. Vectorvest I like but on a free trial. I have had it in the past and imo it has some value.
So I read that stuff then maybe I narrowed down to ten stocks but have come to for various reasons:. Then I'm looking at things that seem incredibly bullish AND that it isn't already in late innings. An example:. I heard that HOOD's interface was resulting in investors firing their financial advisors favouring the inclusiveness and fun user experience. This struck me as impactful and with scale. It is easy to understand why 20-40 year olds might prefer that App.
A late innings buy can really screw you over so I prefer companies with profits already reported to 5 bagger come latelys. Companies that there had been nothing wrong with really and that are now taking a leg up. Like maybe a Coreweave or Service Now.
Myself included, it is tough for us to board a plane in the middle of the flight, mentally. But this is typically still a good move long after most sell. Be very careful though betting on a Palantir type of arrival steeped with political overtones and much hype. I'm not saying don't buy it but understand how bad the worst case scenario could be is all I am saying.

Hey man, I would like to tell you that I am very fortunate to be in the situation I am right now. What I would tell you is to find ONE company that you love for the future, for me it’s personally Robinhood Stock. I believe it will be a juggernaut stock over the next couple years, and could even see a split within that time frame. It’s a good long term investment, so I decided to accumulate a lot of liquid cash and bought a ton of shares of HOOD only. It’s paid off for me, I’m only 20 and already have 15k in liquid assets saved because of this strategy. Don’t diversify if you want to make a ton, diversify if you want to feel comfortable/confident. Don’t let the pressure make you bend, hold through the thick and the thin!!! You’ll get it down

Mostly stocks such as HOOD, PLTR, CELH, AVGO, AMD, MU and others. Sectors like IT, Staples, but will rotate into other sectors that have good names and is trading at a discount.
