I had 7 of the CHWY calls but sold 6 because....dumb. my other options are all at .01 and there are many. All CRON January WAY otms ($5, $5.50, and $7, premiums paid .03 for the 7 and .05 for the 5s... and not looking good. Failed to sell them when they mooned because I was sure they would continue mooning. Bad move.
Anyway, once chwy popped, I had the first liquidity I have seen in a while. After that, I started juggling 0D spy calls and puts. Past few days were very good for it.
Psychologically speaking, I feel like CRON tought me something I needed to learn: pot stocks suck, especially CRON and OGI for retail trading. They are technically the best-run and best balance sheets etc., but just not volatile and definitely not bullish until next catalyst.
I bought the CRON calls because I have successfully flipped .05 and unders for .08 or .10 or more on pumps. But the real reasoh I bought so many junk contracts and am holding is that I once left about $60,000 dollars on the table on a $300 dollar pile of HMHC $7c when HMHC was at 4 dollars per share.
I sold when those contracts went from .01 to .05 and took a very small profit after months of holding.
Well, over the next few months, HMHC went private at $20 per share.
So I tried to repeat that, but HMHC..... CRON is not.
But I held one!
