Picked up an unopened roll of 1964 BU JFK halves today. Should I break it or keep it intact for best value?

I sell on PMsforsale and people are getting more for .999. Same on Facebook. A year ago I could get a premium for 90%. Now it goes for several dollars under spot. Even Bu stuff. If you look at my sales you can see some BU proof 90% in the last two. The first time I listed at or just below spot. No interest at all. In my last sale the .999 lot had multiple BINs at spot ($70) while the 90% proofs were listed at 45x (spot was 50x). The 90% for well under spot sold later than the pricier .999.
My comment was based on being consistently active in the market for years. If junk and Sterling are selling at spot based on silver content I am not seeing it. Wish I was.

Hi everyone,
I recently purchased a 2025 1 oz Royal Australian Mint Silver Year of the Snake (BU) coin from eBay, and after receiving it I measured both the weight and diameter.
The weight is consistently coming out at over 32 grams (see photo), which seems very high for a 1 oz silver coin. From my understanding, a genuine 1 oz silver coin should be around 31.1g, and most of my other 1 oz coins measure right around that range on the same scale.
The diameter looks roughly in line with specs, but the overweight result is what concerns me. I’ve tested multiple other coins on the same scale and they all come in around 31.1g, so I don’t believe this is a scale issue.
Has anyone here seen a genuine Royal Australian Mint 1 oz coin weigh over 32g?
Is this within any realistic tolerance, or should this be considered a red flag?

I ship USPS Ground Advantage between $5-$7 depending on location being sent to but most of the time $5 is good for under 4 ounces. More than that will bump it up but I’ll look it up for you and will be at cost. I ship from NJ. Once it’s with them, my responsibility ends but I will help facilitate any issues that may occur. When I started collecting picked up a ton of BU morgans in the early 2000s up to even 2010ish for like $35 ea range?

Bei 2k . Ich konnte plötzlich einfach so die TA-Rechnung (Tierarzt) zahlen, ohne an das Ersparte zu gehen.
Ich zahle aber auch "nur" 400€ Miete, die andere hälfte zahlt der Partner und es gibt kein Auto.
Nach der Ausbildung mit 1,5k habe ich mich auch schon gut gefühlt und direkt Sparraten so angelegt, dass ich nicht viel mehr Geld als vorher für Spaßsachen ausgeben kann, da es weggespart ist, aber die 2k waren viel entspannter.
Mit der Zeit sind aber einige Veränderungen gekommen bessere BU, private RV und regelmäßige TA-Termine.
Jetzt mit 2,5k ist das Leben wirklich sorglos möglich. Ich kann Restaurantbesuche, Essenslieferung, Austausch defekter Geräte oder unvorhergesehene TA-Rechnungen bezahlen ohne vorher aufs Konto zu schauen und auch Urlaube sind im bestimmten Geldrahmen einfach buchbar. Wenn ich im Lebensmittelladen bin, kann ich kaufen, was ich möchte, ohne dass ich auf Preise extrem achten müsste. Als ehemaliges HartzIV-Kind ist das purer Luxus, weshalb ich mir all das nicht ständig "gönne". Ich achte auf Preise, Vergleiche und kaufe auf Vorrat. Auch nehme ich mir oft Essen zur Arbeit mit und mache es in der Microwelle warm.
Wenn man Auto und/oder Kind hat, sieht das bestimmt wieder anders aus.

ich habe mal einen evtl. dummen Gedanken gehabt. Ich habe momentan ca. 200k auf nem FTSE als Altersvorsorge liegen + eine vermietete Wohnung finanziert. Es erwarten mich in Zukunft diverse Immobilen aus Erbschaft.
Meine Altersvorsorge besteht zusätzlich aus einer BU/Altervorsorge Kombi sowie eine Privatrente bei der Allianz. + evtl. die staatliche Rente.
Die 200k + Immobilie habe ich mir selber erarbeitet durch hartes Sparen. Vielleicht manchmal auch zu hart. Deswegen möchte ich mir nun in den nächsten Jahren ein paar Träume erfüllen. Reisen, Traumauto, etc.
Deswegen war ich auf der Suche nach einem ausschüttendem ETF um mehr Cashflow zu generieren, um monatlich ein bisschen noch reinzubekommen. Jetzt bin ich auf den A3EHRE gestoßen. Ließt sich alles toll, was da alles beschrieben wird und scheint ja auch gut zu laufen das Ding.
Nachteil ist ja, dass an im Grunde seine Rendite ausschüttet und deswegen der Wert ja nicht wachsen kann.
Jetzt kommt aber meine Frage: Was ist den wenn man den A3EHRE einfach bespart mit dem was man ausgezahlt bekommt und wenn man Cashflow benötigt, dann einfach mal den Sparplan auslässt. mit 200k würde man ja so ca. 1000Euro brutto rausbekommen pro Monat. Wenn ich diese reinvestiere wandert ja die "Rendite" wieder rein und kann arbeiten.
Und wenn ich mal Cashflow benötige, kann ich den Sparplan mal auslassen.
Steuerlich wäre man ja dann auch immer auf Stand.

Habe ich hier einen Denkfehler? Für mich klingt das Teil zu gut für meine Situation.

I’m sure there may be a couple of fakes imbedded in here but they likely look different than these pictures. And I also recognize that the value of really worn Morgans will be slightly less. (Half a gram or so). What I’m saying is there are deals to be had that aren’t scams that will get people coins for more than 10% below spot. Because some people just aren’t paying attention to the daily changes in price. I was simply saying that commemoratives seem to be on the lowest end of the price increases including kennedys which you would think would be the last of them to rise.
I sold 5 65-69 kennedys for $50 plus shipping the other day. AU/BU but nothing stellar and I think I undersold the price as they sold on the first go round. And now I’m seeing auctions for $220+ for $20 of them lol

Also nicht nachvollziehbare Vorbehalte. Ich verteidige die DVAG nicht. Dort gjbt es Vertreter, welche nur auf dein Geld aus sind. Findest du aber bei Allianz, HUK usw auch. Wenn du irgendwo hin gehst und ne BU brauchst, dann wird man dir was aus deren Haus verkaufen. Oder du gehst wegen Geldanlage zur Sparkasse. Du verlässt diese mit einem schlechten Fond. Ist deswegen Sparkasse unseriös oder seriöser als andere.
Das Pyramiden-System hast du in jeder Firma. Abteilungsleiter bekommt mehr Kohle, wenn die Leute in dieser Abteilung gut performen oder Umsatz bringen. DVAG ist nichts anderes.
Also kritisch sein gegenüber allen Finanzvertretern!
