There are several statutes that can be interpreted to give the president authority to do tariffs. Not saying ANY are actually legal, but in practice that doesn't matter.
If this statute Trump is currently operating under gets interpreted by the court differently and Trump's executive order struck down, he'll just make a new executive order to continue with the tarrifs under a different statute. This game can go on for years.

I understand. Just want OP to understand that if they find out that they can withdraw it that they will have to pay taxes and a 10% penalty so it’s not a surprise if they do.
Also VERY RARE but let’s say you lose you job and have run out of cash and behind on your mortgage but you already withdrew your contributions. I’d rather take from profits for a short period of time and pay extra tax and 10% penalty then become homeless. But like I said that would be rare and I wouldn’t withdraw and profit for ANY other reason unless it’s truly an emergency.

But I'm obviously talking about your trading success, not your overall life and wellbeing. And through all of the comments here asking for some... ANY type of results, there's none to be had.
A system is only valid if you've used it in a live market to produce consistent real world gains, or can provide a significant enough backtest to prove profitability over a long enough period.
So in that sense my statement holds true. That is ALOT of time to put in to not have any significant market returns to show for it, that's screen time away from your family/friends etc. And ALOT of it.
Again if you've dialed in a perfect system that is going to stack you millions and allow you to retire comfortably with 20 lambos and a poodle then maybe its all worth it, but you're not going to know until you dive in and try.
I noticed in another comment that you said you were a few months away from being able to prove profitability, etc.
Do you mind if I ask what your plans are for doing so? Are you planning to start trading a live forward test, or what are your plans exactly for doing so.

No one is explaining the reason this doesnt exist, so let me.
If there was ANY security with that profile it would be popular. It would be so popular people would pay more for it. Thus the dividend% would start to drop as the price for it increased, because price increases with demand. It would probably level out when the dividend reached 2-6% (this will vary based on a lot).
Now, if you truly want that then you need to think about the future, like 5-10 years out. Find a company with regular dividend increases with solid fundamentals. But them. Sit on that for a period of time and as they increase their dividend your ORIGINAL investment will have a higher and higher dividend as a percentage of what you paid. Yes the price will increase making it look like the dividend isnt, but your “yield on cost” will continue to rise.

They have to be prepared to give out that $32 share ANY time in the next year. That could get expensive.
Even if they did this, they wouldn’t be able to call it the same ticker because GameStop is only going to be honoring its own warrants.

As others have hinted at - the brokers holding shares don't hold 69 shares 420 shares 111 shares, etc, they hold 7,410,069 shares, so they'll get 741,006 warrants. That may serve 100,000 different customers, and THAT'S where the rounding will happen. 100,000 accounts and only 1 warrant "lost."
The individuals will only receive their rounded shares from the broker and the broker will keep the extras, no idea what they'll do with them.
If all 100,000 accounts ended in the number 9 or 8, then that could be as many as thousands of leftover warrants the broker keeps. Some bigger accounts lose less (ex: a whale with 9,999 shares only loses 1 warrant per ~10,000 shares but a bunch of folks with only 9 shares add up to hundreds of shares not getting ANY warrants distributed.

I hear that but it already happened and we see it snapped back. That to me is proof of its resilience. My entire bull thesis is based on the fact that Robinhood has been an innovator since day 1 and continues to innovate. As long as I see that I am happy. Here’s some things they initially pioneered (that competitors were forced to try and copy):
-fractional shares
-free trading
-mobile-first experience
-access to crypto+stocks+options
-easy access to margin
These alone are what got Robinhood started innovating and printing cash for themselves, leaving incumbents scrambling to catch up. And here is what they are innovating on today:
-Robinhood gold (HUGE DEAL)
-industry leading savings rate APY (up to 4.5% as of the time of writing)
-industry leading credit card cash back (3% on ALL purchases. No categories or games or hoops)
-industry leading 3% match on IRA contributions
-industry leading 2% match on other types of contributions
-prediction market access (essentially, loosely-regulated online gambling for those interested)
-tokenized stocks (still rolling out, will give the potential for exposure to private equity and other non-traditional assets, at an unprecedented scale)
-social network (still rolling out, will create network effects where folks can share trades and follow each other, etc. This is obviously already very popular as we have evidenced from this subreddit, other investing subreddits like WSB, and Twitter)
And I’m just waiting for whatever they announce next. I couldn’t have predicted ANY of these innovations but here we are. This is an easy 10 bagger because NOBODY is doing these things at the pace that Robinhood is. They will have a monopoly on young users and over time as they age, that will turn into a monopoly on most users financial needs. Just wait and watch and save this post so that we can look back and either I’m crazy or correct lol.

ARE THEY ANY BEARS ALIVE ANYMORE? ASKING FOR A FRIEND

When they give warrants out, they keep a ledger of names of all brokers and holders of shares. Finding out what brokers cant/wont give out their warrants owed will be very telling. The only way to guarantee you get warrants is DRS, every broker its at their discretion, which can change at ANY TIME.
When they hear 100’s of stories online about broker “didn’t give me my warrants” thats all they need to surmise where big money would rather pay than give out a warrant, or maybe they cant because they don’t have enough warrants to cover the shares customers “own”

But I already proved that the average investor COULD. If you invest in a small proportion of single stocks, and at ANY point it outperforms the market. You can sell all of them and put them into the market. If you never touch your portfolio again you’ve beaten the market indefinitely.

If there was ANY DOUBT that this Administration is racist, misogynist and facist, this should clear all that up.

so 25% to 75% is another confidence interval. (50% chance of landing in that zone)
