To be honest with a portfolio that small I would put it in XDC or Kaspa, as both of those are promising projects, which you could buy a sizeable amount of with your current invested funds. Might get lucky with a 50x -100x in the next 10-15 years. But a millionaire, I'm afraid not.

Ok I’ll start off by saying that I signed up with Coinbase about 6 months ago. I heard all the horror stories so I went and got my own hardware wallets for cold storage. Not your keys, not your crypto. I always buy my crypto and then send it off the exchange immediately.
All that being said, I’ve had no issues with Coinbase… until now. I bought Litecoin yesterday and for some weird reason when I went to send it to my TradeOgre account to swap for XDC, it wouldn’t let me send. I kept receiving a no reply email from Coinbase saying “Your attempt to send Litecoin has failed, your funds are safe and have been returned to your LTC balance. You can try sending again below.” The reason said “Network or other technical issue.” I tried numerous times to no avail.
Today, I tried posting on it here. But you have to be approved by Mods first to post. So I direct messaged Coinbase on this platform asking why I was having this problem. I gave them my email and they looked at my account.
I then receive this email with a case number:
I have confirmed that the review team has the needed information about your account and will contact you as soon as the review is complete. They aim to complete this review as quickly as possible and you will hear from them within 2-3 business days.
Next thing I know I receive an email from Coinbase saying they have completed my account review and that my send services remain disabled at this time. “You will be able to send again on 06-08-2025.” That is a month from now! It goes on to say “You are still able to Buy/Receive/Deposit/Sell you currently have on Coinbase.” Essentially, they are stiff arming me into not being able to send the crypto I bought on Coinbase into my own custody. Major 🚩
Then, I receive an email to verify my identity. So I did that which required my drivers license and a video of myself verbally saying three numbers.
I try to send my crypto again and it has me answer a series of questions which I answered. I then receive an email saying my identity is verified.
Then, I receive an email saying “Protect yourself from Scams” and that they have limited my ability to send crypto to protect myself from potential loss. They say they are worried that I have sent crypto to a fraudulent person or platform.
Lastly, they email me this:
To help us resolve this matter quickly, please reply to this email with detailed answers to the following questions:
Why did you sign up for Coinbase, and what do you intend to use Coinbase for?
Were you directed by a third party to create the account or transfer funds?
Does anyone besides yourself have access to your account or account credentials?
Additionally, please provide the following information about your recent crypto sends to external wallets:
Name of the recipient
Your relationship to the recipient
Purpose of sending these funds
Once we receive your response, we’ll review your account promptly and work to restore full access as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this process.
I answered all their questions, verified my identity, and this is what they respond with:
Due to suspicious activity, Coinbase has temporarily restricted your ability to send crypto. This restriction is activated to protect your account, as crypto send transactions are irreversible. Once sent from Coinbase, transactions cannot be undone, canceled, reversed, or recovered.
To resolve this:
Check your email (including spam folder) for a message from Coinbase specifying the exact date/time when this restriction will be lifted.
Wait until the specified time for the restriction to be automatically removed.
Once the restriction is lifted, you'll be able to send crypto as intended.
For future reference, always review Coinbase's security guidelines to avoid triggering such restrictions.
