Hey, I'll be as clear as I can. This probably isn't a rare case.

But I'm trying to basically get only like $0.50 to $1 worth of ETH because my Coinbase wallet is based on the ETH platform even though I have USDC. So I can withdraw and pay the transfer fee or whatever. (since it's on the ETH network apparently)
Honestly, this stuff is really confusing, and I've been charged many fees on Coinbase. Around like 10 bucks each time I swapped or transferred because I'm just testing. I haven't touched crypto in years.
I’m not even trying to make money, just trying to move my funds and be done. Every time I think I’m close, there’s another tiny step that costs too much. It’s starting to feel like I’m just throwing money at this for no reason.
I know ETH gas fees have always been a thing, but I didn’t expect such a struggle just to get a small amount. I tried a couple swaps and test transfers, and they all ended up costing more than I wanted to spend. It's kind of ridiculous that I need ETH just to move my other tokens.
Anyways, anyone have any advice to get like $0.50 to $1 worth of ETH? Is there any trusted platform? I’m willing to give the trusted route the same balance or slightly more. Like maybe $1 of USDC for $0.50 to $1 ETH. I just wanna withdraw my funds and not get stuck. I’m not trying to buy a whole bunch, just enough to cover the gas fee and move on.
If there’s a way to trade directly with someone, or use a faucet that actually works, or even an app that makes this process easier, I’m open to suggestions. I’m honestly just trying to wrap this up and not feel like I’m wasting my time or money.
Even if it's something basic that I missed, feel free to let me know. I'm tired of this, honestly.

Cheers if anyone has some advice. Appreciate it a lot.

Check out YieldClub, it’s abstracted completely for normies. But there’s still a hurdle for users to “buy crypto” for the first time even if it’s just fiat to USDC. But otherwise very seamless onboarding, on ramping, and one click yield generation in a single Morpho pool

It's basically identical to how USDC works but with KYC locks.
1) Hold stock in brokerage
2) Emit KYC locked token to account holder
3) Profit

Appreciate the transparency, and I agree CRCL is definitely evolving past the meme stock phase. The way it's positioning itself as the USDC infrastructure backbone *domestically* while USDT remains offshore is actually a pretty significant narrative, especially with the GENIUS Act potentially giving it a regulatory tailwind.
That said, I’m cautiously optimistic. The stablecoin space is heating up, and if Circle plays it right, they could become the default rails for compliant crypto payments in the US. But execution + regulation timing will be key. If they fumble the tech or the compliance side, that door could close quick.
Still watching for more clarity around profitability, integration timelines, and whether institutions actually start routing through their systems. If that happens, you're right this could be way bigger than people realize.
Leaning bullish but keeping my position small until there's more confirmation. Curious what catalysts others are watching?

I'm increasing my USDC on hUSDC vault on Haven1 since the yield is now above 100% APY. I plan to milk it as long as it stays like that.

Hey everyone,
I’m facing a frustrating issue with Binance and would really appreciate help from the community to figure this out.
Here’s the situation:
- I deposited 600€ via SEPA transfer
- I bought Bitcoin using the Spot market, on the BTC/EUR pair
- I used a Market order, not the “Convert” feature
- And still, Binance charged me about 0.0000625 BTC in fees, which is around 5,70€, almost 1%
I was expecting 0.10% (or 0.075% with BNB), so I really don’t get where the extra fee comes from.
I even tried splitting the process:
1. Convert EUR → USDC
2. Then buy BTC/USDC on the Spot market
But same result the total fee is still close to 1%, even though everything is supposed to be low-fee.
Has anyone experienced the same issue or knows what could be causing this? I’d really appreciate any insight. 🙏

To start, I do have holdings in CRCL again as of Friday just for the sake of transparency.
But what are you guys expecting to come of this revolutionary and highly disruptive force in the market?
I think it's rustling many feathers with its business mode alone but has enormous potential. It was initially viewed as nothing more than a meme stock but it's very clearly now establishing the support and backing of more institutional and fundamental driving forces.
I already foresaw this being the long-term goal and all signs indicate it to not only be the aim of Circle Internet Group but rather, it seems extremely likely to happen and succeed. If so, this could be massive for the business and monumental for the stock, in my opinion. Especially with top analysts pointing out that the ONLY real competition to USDC in the Stablecoin market would be USDT, which is a foreign asset and therefore not subject to the GENIUS act. So they are essentially a shoe-in if Stablecoin integration is the goal.
BTC is, of course, popular but the economics and current financial infrastructure simply do not allow for it to be reasonably used as currency rather than an asset. Hence why recent legislation has fixated on its consideration as such. Not a currency, but an asset to be considered for lending purposes.
That said, what are the other opinions on this? Bullish? Bearish? Not sure?

The transactions are final and reversible, but circle and tether publish a list of wallets that miners all agree not to process transactions from. This means you have the USDC/T but cannot move it until your wallet is removed from the blacklist.

You’ll get a lot of stick here, but you do what’s right for you. If you’re gonna stake down for Jade, go for it! The level up perks are pretty good.
I don’t know if it’s same in your location but I’ve been locking up USDC for 5% plus 0.75% cro for a lot of my idle funds which in turn tops up my card. Works well.

The most recent update for those who placed order/deposited USDC (Pre-Order) for Solana Seeker (Mobile 2).
People have been requested refund, if they are living in the countries that are not delivery supported (which were NOT available information during pre-order period).
The website and Discord Admin/Moderators were instructing such users to request refund via ticket.
More than a month has passed, and there are still majority of people saying the refund was never processed.
People were saying "You will be refunded.. be patient", but check this out.
Users are now reporting that the Pre-Order 500 USDC Deposit will NOT be refunded, even they do NOT ship to the country.

This is the response the user got after sharing EVERY detail including that he is on the unsupported country and needs refund.
Check out their discord, and you will be bunch of people asking for refund daily, but no resolve.
They also changed their discord channel structure to cover this issue as much as possible.
Is there any action users can take at this point?
Thank you.

When the US puts bitcoin in their reserve, it will be a valid as a reserve to back up USDC and USDT, which means they no longer need to buy low yield bonds. Now they have ++20% ARR for printing money out of thin air which they can immediately buy more btc with, which has no way to go but up because of the constant flow of money.
I've had my holy shit moment, and now the politicians are finding out. This is a limitless Ponzi scheme which is completely out of control. There is no ceiling. Join whenever you feel like, but I would say sooner rather than later.

Hi!
First of all, you are taking a step in the right direction by thinking about self-custody and a cold wallet.
The first thing you should do before moving your Crypto to your own wallet, is to become a little familiar with the tech itself. Go see 1-2 videos teaching how blockchain and Bitcoin work, what smart contracts are and the difference between networks. Also, what is a Hardware/Cold Wallet, and why is it different from a hot one? Hint: No wallet (hot or cold) holds your Crypto.
Now, if you are familiar with the basics, the next step is to buy your Hardware wallet of your choice. I have Ledger devices because I have different Crypto in various blockchains, and Ledger is better compatible with software wallets in niche blockchains. But if you have only BTC, ETH and ERC-20 tokens, then a Trezor is also a really great, great choice.
The next step is to buy your Crypto. If you use the Crypto. com (CDC) ecosystem, then don't buy ANYTHING in the app itself. It has a huge spread/fee when you buy/sell so, generally transfer your FIAT and do your trades directly into the CDC Exchange. The transfers of Crypto between the App and the Exchange are free. If you have FIAT in the app (you can't transfer FIAT between App <-> Exchange), buy USDC with them, transfer them to the CDC Exchange and buy your crypto there.
Then transfer your coins to your Hardware Wallet by choosing the native (and not the cheapest) network to do that. Unfortunately, BTC has a very high withdrawal fee on CDC, so be sure that you have a good amount of BTC to make it worth the transfer. Generally, it is good to make a test transaction first before making a huge transfer, but if you have 200$ of BTC then the withdrawal fee of CDC isn't worth the test transaction.
Now, that you have your Crypto to your Cold wallet, you can stake those that are stakable and HOLD the rest. Beware. Don't use your Hardware wallet to do trades with third-party Centralised Exchanges (CEXes) that some of these wallets offer. For example, Ledger Live (Ledger's software interface) has some integrations with shady Exchanges (like Changely). Don't use them to trade.
Trade only in reputable CEXes (like Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, Crypto. com Exchange, etc.) and then transfer your Crypto to your Cold Wallet. Also, as you get familiar with the blockchain, you can trade with your cold wallet at Decentralized Exchanges (DEXes), but there you can trade assets that live in the same blockchain (for example Ethereum/ERC-20 tokens). There are certainly some dangers in DEXes (visiting a scam site instead of the real DEX, signing a scam website, etc.), so be sure to do it, when you learn one-two things about blockchain first.
If you have any questions around Cold Wallets, feel free to ask. I would love to help if I can.
P.S. Don't answer any DMs. They are all scammers. NEVER share personal info, passwords or seed phrases with anyone. If someone really wants to help, they will answer in this thread, not in your DMs.

First ACH is dead/dying, it’s been replaced with FedNow which is free-ish, instant final settlement.
Second, USDC isn’t really transferring money any more than Venmo and PayPal. They have reserves somewhere, they sit there, you trade fractional claims on them. Just like PayPal with a stored balance.

I am unsure what time zone CB goes by, if it's your local, UTC, Eastern Time, Pacific time. I think I have seen before it's like 11 day of. July 1 has about another 5 hours for UTC. IMO, I would try tomorrow morning (depending on where you're at) and going to guess you will be able to access at that time.
FWIW, keep this in mind and "prepare" for this for future purchases. If at some point you can afford it, send $X amount to CB to fund your account and after the 7 day hold, just leave it there as USD or USDC for any instance in the future where you may instantly need access.
