No not at all they have RLUSD for that purpose ......everytime RLUSD is used a certain percentage of XRP gets burned..... basically taken out of circulation thus the price can only go up

This move makes sense after RLUSD adoption in the ethereum network. Solana saw a lot of capital from ethereum move to their network after building an EVM
Platform. I imagine XRPL will also see some capital from Eth and Solana (given the blackouts and network disruptions) move over to network as more users in those networks use the XRP EVM.

The problem with that, is that. RLUSD barely operates on the XRPL.
The vast majority lives on Eth and has never even seen the XRPL.

And even with he pitiful amount of RLUSD on the ledger, XRP is devalued to just a gas token. On a chain with no volume, or TVL.
So relatively valueless.
