On December 2–4 2025, my wallet (0xc02ff78Aa3156840F0ABD340dE162Be0E35FE302 0xc02ff78aa3156840f0abd340de162be0e35fe302) was drained of ~100 USDT on Base and additional assets on Polygon after I accidentally signed malicious approvals (likely from a fake airdrop/biometric/verification site that mimicked legitimate projects).
The main drainer wallet that received and is still holding a big portion of the stolen funds (including mine and many others) is:

(Currently holds 2,000+ DAI, USDT, POL, etc. stolen from multiple victims)

This drainer is still active and has been hitting many people over the past week. It often uses phishing sites that look like real testnet/airdrop/biometric verification pages and tricks users into signing unlimited approvals.What I learned the hard way:Never blindly click “approve” or “sign” just to make a popup go away
I’ve already reported both addresses to Chainalysis, and the relevant token issuers, but posting here so others can flag these addresses in their wallets and avoid becoming the next victim. Stay safe out there and double-check everything you sign!

POL to me looks more like an infrastructure play than a quick moonshot, which can be healthier. Best Wallet gave me quieter habits by making holdings feel organized. I still keep positions small here personally.

All this back and forth between MATIC and POL just makes the whole thing feel less straightforward when I am trying to think in years, not weeks. Best Wallet is what I have been using lately because sending and swapping there can stay predictable enough that I focus more on whether I even want Polygon exposure. I try to watch network usage, bridge costs, and my risk tolerance instead of drama.
