Layers of abstraction that provide a separation of concerns can indeed be powerful like TCP/IP stack.
However crypto L2s are not that.
They are more like plastering wallpaper over the top of something to paper over the cracks.
L1 might not scale for example so an L2 is invented , but that usually then immediately has to sacrifice decentralisation perhaps.
There is no modular architecture here that introduces layers of abstraction that allows independent modules to concentrate on their respective iareas of concern and with a clear interface agreement to the next level.
Its wallpaper glue to.hide the cracks.
And L3 will just be different wallpaper.

What you call L1 flaws, others might call security through simplicity. Kind of like TCP/IP only tried ti do one thing really well.

Let me give you some context. Wallet addresses are outdated and currently Send-to-Name is set to replace them as a concept for sending funds between wallets. It works by sending funds via one-time burner addresses all under the same @ username, thereby reducing the security risks that normal wallets have like IP leakage, user error when copy pasting long strings of digits, i.e. 0x742d35Cc66..., phishing, address book poisoning, etc. the list goes on.
So my question again. Why are you still using wallet addresses when you could sign up for these new @ usernames and still be on time to get the one you want?

My acc has been restricted because of IP location issue,
I am currently in a remote location and I can only use satellite internet, the internet provider seem to route internet through restricted a country which has led to my acc suspension. I am not able to get local Wi-Fi or mobile data connection.
