**ommon UX hurdles in monero**
**These hurdles make it hard to use monero privately**
* Many Monero wallets share the user's "view key" with a server so that it can scan the blockchain in the background for any stealth public keys belonging to the user and tell them to look up how much money they contain, which speeds up wallet functions at the expense of user privacy;
* Many monero wallets connect to monero nodes via an RPC connection in order to broadcast transactions, thus leaking their user's IP address to whatever nodes they connect to. These RPC connections bypass the dandelion++ upgrade that is supposed to protect the sender's IP address, so privacy-conscious users of a Monero wallet that leaks data in this way ought to take other measures to protect their IP address, like using a VPN, TOR or I2P;
* Even wallets that **do** use dandelion++ still leak data; the dandelion++ protocol uses "stem nodes" to forward a transaction a number of hops before broadcasting it, but each "stem node" knows that the stem node before them has some probability of being the true sender. Moreover, dandelion++ does not encrypt these transactions, allowing stem nodes to compare them and learn more info. For example, suppose Alice forwards 5 transactions through Bob, and Bob observes that 3 of them have multiple inputs and multiple outputs. This indicates that those 3 were made by a service with several users; and if Bob observes that Alice's node is frequently offline, that suggests Alice's node did not create those transactions, because such services typically have high uptime;
* Many Monero users reuse their monero address by e.g. providing it to multiple exchanges. But address reuse is bad for privacy because it allows multiple senders to easily "compare notes" and see if they sent money to the same person, and it allows the same sender to more easily log whether they sent money to the same person more than onceIt is difficult to safely "rotate keys" in monero -- and delete your old private keys -- because Monero wallets commonly support a "contact list" which works by directly storing the recipient's Monero address for future reuse. So if you do delete your private keys, someone might send money to a monero address whose key you deleted. But rotating keys is wise because, in Monero, your private keys are cryptographically linked to their whole transaction history, which can be looked up on the blockchain by anyone who acquires those keys. Rotating keys (and safely deleting the old ones) is thus wise but hard to do in monero, and that's a serious UX hurdle.

The real reason you shouldn’t be selling.
To understand how XRP reaches a price that reflects its role in the global financial system, you must look beyond hype and speculation. This isn't about trends, it's about infrastructure, utility, and necessity advancing with quiet momentum.
XRP isn't just another token. It's becoming the foundation of a multi-hundred-trillion-dollar framework, one corridor at a time.
Ripple's mission is solving one of the oldest inefficiencies in finance: cross-border payments.
SWIFT still relies on pre-funded nostro and vostro accounts, tying up trillions and causing days-long delays.
RippleNet, using XRP as a neutral bridge asset, removes that friction. Funds convert to XRP, move across the ledger in seconds, and convert back, no pre-funding, no middlemen, no dollar exposure.
Ripple has spent a decade building infrastructure while others chased hype. Today, regulated corridors are live across Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East. This isn't theory.
It's real money moving over XRP rails.
Regulatory clarity has been the biggest hurdle.
The SEC lawsuit delayed U.S. adoption and kept
XRP out of public reach, while the rest of the world moved forward. Yet Ripple adapted and expanded globally. Ironically, while the SEC litigated Ripple, U.S. institutions quietly adopted the tech.
Ripple now holds licenses in dozens of jurisdictions, including Singapore, the EU, and the UAE. Legal clarity unlocks institutional use, and a federal judge has already ruled XRP is not a security. That ruling is more than symbolic, it's the green light for global-scale adoption.
Meanwhile, central banks are testing CBDCs, many on Ripple's private ledger. But these digital currencies won't function in isolation. They require interoperability, and again, XRP fits.
Central banks can tap XRP liquidity for instant, cross-border settlement.
The world is also tokenizing everything: money, bonds, real estate, carbon credits, commodities.
All of it needs fast, liquid, interoperable infrastructure. XRP offers just that. Each tokenized transaction settled on XRP rails adds to demand, beyond payments, XRP becomes the plumbing of tokenized finance.
This drives real utility-based demand. Liquidity providers and institutions will need to hold billions in XRP, not as investment, but to operate. To move $1 trillion per day, the system may need $100 billion in liquid XRP. With a 50 billion token supply, that implies a price near $2,000 per XRP just to function. As global volume grows into the tens of trillions, so must the price.
This transition is happening quietly. No headline will declare XRP the global reserve settlement asset. But the old systems are being phased out.
Ripple's rails are going live. The consolidation has begun, and it's irreversible.
XRP will not be seen as just a digital asset. It will be recognized as the liquidity layer of the modern financial system, just as the internet runs on TCP/ IP, global value will run on XRP.

AxioraSwap it's one of the most reliable ways to swap cross-chain, fully decentralized with no KYC.
It works directly with different routes, meaning it’s fully decentralized, no custodial wallets, no IP logs, and no registration. You just create the order, send the funds, and receive the output coin.
It also supports cross-chain swaps (ETH-BTC or SOL BTC etc) natively, and the fees are pretty low compared to other options.
Definitely worth a try if you’re looking for privacy and simplicity.

Pioneer since 2019, mining on the blockchain since 2022. The premises before coming out on February 20th were very good, tokenomics works and it is a modified stellar protocol.
Like all cryptocurrencies with a high market cap, they started with a bang and then tracking you down by 90%, this is not a concern. The problems are:
1: they don't define when the second migration will take place, I have the first one which is about to be unlocked and it's a decent sum, selling at this price is crazy considering the highs.
2: they don't define the validation rewards, I did 2000 of them, they don't say the reward metric or when you will be paid. Long-time miners like me have a lot of IP to redeem, if I sold everything it would be a problem that's why they are centralized (which for me is very wrong)
3: Non-decentralized blockchain, the only actively functioning nodes and supernodes are from the pi core team, there are over 300,000 PCs mining on testnet. I thought that on February 20th there would be a switch for all those who mine but that wasn't the case.
4 GenAI and pi studio are promising tools still in beta, but for each change to the chatbot I pay 0.25 pi, which makes no sense considering that I can give for free and with more room to maneuver on hugging face.
5 apps are of low quality, for now, but I notice a nice increase, a few years and something useful will definitely come out.
6 Announcements where they extend deadlines decrease confidence, large investors and large exchanges cannot invest or list a coin
completely centralized.
Beyond the negative aspects, a coin launched in collaboration with Venutures and Stanford will NEVER be a scam because the prestigious university and the vuntures who invested cannot lose face, but the Core team had not organized itself for such a large influx of users (we are more than 13 million active and almost 70 million in total, I think among the largest communities in the world.
No, they can't think that the pioneers build everything themselves, they need to attract new investors and this will happen when they first fix the decentralization and then the unlocks, in this case it would be listed by coinbase and binance and the price will be able to return to the highs... But it will take a long time
The core team wants everything to run smoothly and centrally until the network is ready on all fronts.

Hi u/mikemikemike9711, thank you for bringing this to our attention. It appears you’ve been targeted by a phone scam through an illegitimate text, aiming to steal your user information. Scammers often create fake websites or phone numbers that appear official to trick users into entering their login credentials, granting them access to legitimate accounts.
We strongly recommend updating your Coinbase account and email passwords immediately.
We also recommend:
1. Use a strong, unique password that you do not use anywhere else. Strongly consider using a password manager of your choosing.
2. Take advantage of the 2-step verification security we offer using either SMS code or Google Authenticator app.
3. Before you attempt to log in to your Coinbase account, always make sure the URL in your browser's address bar starts with https://www.coinbase.com/. It may also help to bookmark the website and only use the bookmarked link to access your account.
4. Regularly check the IP login activity on your account by signing in and visiting: https://www.coinbase.com/settings/account_activity
5. Practice due diligence when giving any third-party applications access to your account, or when enabling and sharing your API key. It's possible to see the third-party apps that have permission to use your account, whether API access is enabled, options for regenerating the API key, and further API restrictions at: https://www.coinbase.com/settings/api
6. Never share your passwords, 2-step verification codes, or remote access to your device with any third parties. Coinbase support agents will never ask you to provide this information.
We hope this information is helpful! Don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you need further assistance.

\>What if you use Proton VPN to login to your Proton Mail? Do they share also VPN login IP Adresses?
I don't know, but it is common sense to use a different IP address (aka another VPN besides Proton) if you are trying to obscure your IP from Proton, such that they don't have it.
\>Whats about end to end Encyption?
Proton can't decrypt your shit. Making this impossible is pretty much their entire reason to exist.

Hi, u/SoomanReddit. It seems your account is locked due to unrecognized devices, causing a login loop. Once you complete 2-step verification and approve the login attempt, your device should be trusted 24 to
48 hours. Make sure to use the same device and IP address during this period, as switching either can restart the 48-hour timer. You may also check our Help [page](https://help.coinbase.com/en/coinbase/getting-started/verify-my-account/device-confirmation-troubleshooting) for your guidance.
If the issue persist, please let us know with the error message, so we can look into this further for you.
