You don't need to freeze liquidity to scam. As long as some exchange allows the coin to be traded it can just trade to 0. Since only like 1 exchange even offers trading I'm sure they are being paid to keep trading open. For now. If it was a token on Solana you could just lookup the contract address and see if things like liquidity are locked and trade it forever without the need of using any centralized exchange or order book. However, it's not. It's an L1 coin. Not a token. Completely at the mercy of this 1 exchange. There are thousands of tokens and coins that launch everyday that fall on a spectrum of cash grab to pure theft. This is somewhere on that spectrum. Towards the worse end but doesn't matter. No one is buying this anyway. Especially since it isn't a token.
If the L1 coin was desirable at all there would be many exchanges rushing to list it and it would have its own dex that would allow you to get in and out of the asset forever no matter how close to 0 it trades down. See HYPE of Hyperliquid. All centralized exchanges could stop trading it tomorrow. Wouldn't matter. You could still buy and sell Hype on the hyperliquid dex. This is the what people do. Why it has more volume than Robinhood and part of the reason why HYPE moves up in value. Exchanges stopping trading wouldn't matter beyond bad optics.

Exchange what? Texit? I wasn't referring to that btw. That's one of the sh*t tokens that only takes 5 seconds to know you should avoid. No one is using that or will ever use it.
Use defilama to determine what people actually use if you are new. Then spend the next few months purely just researching BTC, SOL, ETH, HYPE, SUI. Learn the fundamentals of the majors. Then you'll quickly know how to weed out the garbage. Remember, everything in the world is becoming a token. Nvidia, SpaceX, SPY now all tokens. Need to know what you own if you own a token. Tokens are just representation of ownership over something else. Is that something else worth holding?
Outside of tokens there are L1 coins. There's only around 3-4 L1s that actually still matter outside Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the only L1 that doesn't need revenue. Everything else is revenue or bust. Texit appears to be some L1 coin cash grab if I'm looking at right site. A trash fork at best or just a scam meme pretending not to be a meme at worst. Not worth the time to even determine. Pure garbage.
As for lending on major defi lending platforms, all borrowing is fully collateralized. Not sure ift you were asking about that.

Or HYPE is overvalued.
What do I need the token for? I don't need HYPE to use Hyperliquid. What do I want with Aster?
