well, in reality this doesn't work at all. What I find working currently is macroeconomic situation in us, when Fed stops QT - you could enter into alts, wait for the start of QE, then another 1-3 months - bail out.
Project related news no matter how good it is - doesn't have any sustainable effect, when the market is at bad timing, every small or reletively strong pump will be sold off some time in hours, some time in days.
Have you been actively watching the market for the past year? It did precisely this - good news - small pump - sell off with lower lows, bad news - instant sell off and nobody cares about project updates, roadmap, investments, yada-yada.
Look at Dot, Near, Eth, DYDX... look at 95+% of the market, it's at historical lows, you think all of them doesn't have any usage, transactions are not increasing, they don't have new features implemented? :D
