**An Observation**
CRO (Cronos) is currently not available on Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange. This absence is particularly noteworthy given that CRO ranks 25th worldwide, with a market capitalization of $5.44 billion.
**Reasons for This Absence**
**Direct Competition Between Platforms**
The main reason for this lack of listing lies in the direct competition between Binance and Crypto.com. Binance sees Crypto.com as a major competitor and refuses to make CRO easily accessible to its users. This anti-competitive strategy has been confirmed by several analysts who note that *“Binance doesn’t want to make it easier for its users to trade CRO and join the* [*Crypto.com*](http://Crypto.com) *ecosystem.”*
**A Consistent Policy**
This approach is, in fact, reciprocal: [Crypto.com](http://Crypto.com) also does not list Binance’s BNB token on its exchange, although it is available in the main app. This bilateral strategy illustrates the intensity of competition in the centralized exchange sector.
**Impact of the Absence on Binance**
**Limited Exposure**
This lack of listing on Binance significantly limits CRO’s exposure to institutional traders and investors who mainly use this platform. Yet CRO has solid fundamentals, with trading volumes sometimes surpassing those of tokens listed on Binance.
**A Missed Opportunity for Binance**
Ironically, some analysts believe Binance is missing an opportunity by not listing CRO, especially with the potential emergence of ETFs including CRO and the ongoing growth of the [Crypto.com](http://Crypto.com) ecosystem.
[Price of CRO for the last month \(source: CoinMarketCap\)](https://preview.redd.it/lvrii2bmqdif1.jpg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f181c789dd809d2345581db2a4b2170e555579d2)
There is also growing pressure from the crypto community on Reddit (a few examples among hundreds):
* [https://www.reddit.com/r/cro/comments/17wufyn/will\_binance\_ever\_list\_cro/](https://www.reddit.com/r/cro/comments/17wufyn/will_binance_ever_list_cro/)
* [https://www.reddit.com/r/Crypto\_com/comments/1behalg/nominate\_cro\_on\_binance/](https://www.reddit.com/r/Crypto_com/comments/1behalg/nominate_cro_on_binance/)
**Conclusion**
The absence of CRO on Binance perfectly illustrates the competitive stakes in the crypto industry. Despite impressive financial performance (+127.38% since early March 2025, $5.44 billion market capitalization), CRO remains excluded from the world’s largest platform due to an anti-competitive strategy. This situation could change if institutional pressure or the growth of the Cronos ecosystem becomes strong enough to force Binance to reconsider its position.

ETH is the native token in the Ethereum network.
But your WETH seems to be in the BSC (BNB Smart Chain). There is BNB the native token.

Not financial advice.
For long-term holds, focus on fundamentals and tokenomics. High inflation can be a red flag.
In 2017–18, I made some painful mistakes. I traded 0.47 BTC and 3 ETH for about 2,000 IOTA near its ATH without really digging into its fundamentals or knowing much about the crypto space. It was pure hype, and the crash was brutal. It bounced a bit in 2021, then tanked again. They’ve since revamped the project using SUI’s design. I still hold those coins and stake them - too late to sell now, so I’ll just see if they come back in 10 years, lol.
I’d hate for you to lose money the way I did, so remember, nothing is guaranteed in crypto, and you can lose it all. Generally, top 10–20 coins (BTC, ETH, etc.) that have stood the test of time are safer, but won’t deliver the same wild gains - or devastating rug pulls - as risky meme coins.
I've seen hype around Hyperliquid (HYPE), don't know much about it and don't have any.
My best coins have been ETH, BNB, XRP, DOGE (still hoping for $1 -$2) and maybe ADA if it ever recovers. It was just pure luck with the exception of ETH. Ethereum was my introduction to crypto. I mined and staked most of what I have and bought some. I always felt positive about Ethereum and the last 2-3 years have been stressful for sure. I am amazed I did not go gray - lol!

Alright fam, let’s play a little thought experiment.
Imagine you’re locked in for the next 5+ years. No flipping, no panic selling, no chasing the next hype coin. You pick three altcoins… and that’s it. Through bull runs, bear markets, and all the sideways boredom in between – you hold.
Which three make the cut for you? And more importantly – why?
Here’s my forever bag (at least for now):
1. ONDO
Yeah, I know it’s not everyone’s first thought, but hear me out. ONDO is carving out a spot in real-world asset tokenization – basically bringing traditional finance products into the crypto world in a tokenized form. If this sector blows up (and I think it will), ONDO could be right there at the front. It’s early, it’s risky, but I like the upside.
2. Chainlink (LINK)
LINK is that quiet but critical infrastructure project. Without oracles, DeFi as we know it just wouldn’t work. And LINK isn’t just sitting still – CCIP (Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol) could be massive for connecting different blockchains. In my eyes, LINK is like the plumbing of Web3. Not flashy, but essential.
3. Ethereum (ETH)
The OG smart contract platform. ETH is still where most of the action happens – DeFi, NFTs, DAOs, you name it. With upgrades like the Merge behind us and more scalability improvements coming, I think ETH will keep its top spot for years. Sure, competitors will pop up, but ETH has that network effect and developer community that’s hard to beat.
⸻
Now, I’m not saying these three are perfect. Anything can happen in crypto. But when I think long-term, I like having a mix of:
• Adoption potential (ONDO)
• Critical infrastructure (LINK)
• Proven backbone (ETH)
What about you? Do you go safe with blue chips like ETH, BNB, ADA? Or are you throwing darts at the next potential 100x microcap? Maybe a mix – one safe bet, two moonshots?
I’d love to hear your reasoning. Even if you think my picks are trash, tell me what you’d replace them with and why. Bonus points if you’ve actually survived holding through a full bear market before – those war stories are always fun to read.
So… what’s in your forever bag?

that's because your WETH is in the BNB network and the gas fee is always paid with the native token. So you need BNB.
Btw, if you have binance why are you using the web3 wallet to trade and not the exchange?

> "if you have a long hold period, buy BTC, but if you plan on holding a few years, buy Alts".
Alts are not for holding for a few years. They are like high risk gambles. People think an alt will be used for something or someone, and try to get into it early. Usually that alt does not end up being used for something or someone, and it fizzles out into nothing. Sometimes that goes parabolic, sometimes it becomes a mainstay of crypto.
XRP, BNB, SOL, DOGE, TRON are all longer living alts. They've all hit all time highs one way or another, and they've all paid off handsomely if you bought them when they came out. They all have their own little ecosystems where people are using them for things.
> If the case to buy alts is literally just to sell it later, why would anyone want alts?
You've described literally all investing. All investing is buying so you sell later.

This is my first time trading on binance via uniswap. I'm trying to buy bedrock I accidentally traded some ethereum for WETH. I did ultimately traded some ethereum for some binance/BNB. However I can't trade my WETH for bedrock or b&b. Even though I have enough for the gas fee. The gas fee is only $0.03 and I'm being told I don't have enough BNB This is my first time trying to trade and it's just might be my last can someone please help me.

>HBAR XRP QNT POLY VET
...
>I guess I'm a little Conservative
It can't be both. A conservatives portfolio consists of 100% BTC. A little conservative sprinkles in some ETH. Anything with alts outside of XRP and maybe BNB is a high risk, not conservative at all, portfolio.
Anyways, my price targets for this cycle's ATH's are $150-200k BTC and $7k-11K ETH. Sure, alts will pump too, but they'll crater 90% when the halving cycles begins to cool. Where, I expect BTC and ETH to chill out around 80-100k and 3-5k, respectively. Those will be our next crab numbers.
My advice to you is to get out if and when your alts pump, get into ETH and BTC to lock in some of that value, then wait... hold... and forget about all of this until like 2030 when BTC will realistically start to push into the 500k range.
In the meantime, all of your plays should be to get out of alts, and into ETH and BTC to lock in some value. Don't make the same mistake everyone makes every cycle of riding alts down.

If you purchased $1,000 of BNB at its lowest price in 2017, as well as $1,000 of BTC at its lowest price in 2017, you'd be a lot happier with the BNB returns.
Apologies if this challenges anyone's cognitive abilities.

Which Alt coins are you considering? ETH is the ecosystem that thousands of altcoins are built on, even a large number (30% - 40%) of the top 100 coins (by market Cap.) are on Ethereum.
The Solana ecosystem accounts for ~5% (based on my current information) and BNB is also accounting for ~5%
It's important to point out that many of the most popular altcoins are on Ethereum, Solona, or BNB and will directly contribute to the success of their respected ecosystem
