That sounds annoying. I’d move the tokens into a wallet like MetaMask or SafePal where you can add custom tokens on the BNB Smart Chain, then try swapping them on PancakeSwap. If liquidity’s low, sometimes a chat in the project community can help uncover a workaround. Cheers.

All the Alts in the Top 10 had valuations that looked extremely stretched and overbought back in February.
There was no new retail money and bagholders themselves were digging themselves into a deeper hole probably buying more hoping for a BTC bullrun to rescue them.

With that being said, can we talk about how stable the BNB coin has been? When the altcoin market rallies, it stays at around 600 USD; when it crashes, it stays at around 600 USD. It's been in the 600 range for 1.5 years, which is very unusual for altcoins that usually have boom and bust, albeit still losing to BTC on pair value.

Hey guys, I’m having a problem I’ve been trying to figure out for a couple of weeks, I’m hoping to resolve it with your help.
I received cryptocurrency on Coinbase wallet. Currency: USD.T Tentum. I am located in Canada. I am trying to liquidate this asset. The Tentum currency I was sent, works through the BNB Smart Chain network. The BNB network does not work on Coinbase wallet as of today, I have confirmed that with them. They told me that I would need to find an external wallet that supports BNB network as well as Tentum, then to transfer all my tentum from Coinbase wallet to the new wallet.
I have been on a lot of different wallets, unfortunately a lot of them aren’t available in my region. The ones that are, I have tried, like Trust Wallet, MetaMask and even Pancake Swap (DEX) built on the Binance Smart Chain. I have not been able to figure out how to swap this asset for another currency and finally liquidate it. I’ve also checked on CoinMarketCap on how to current available liquidity of the token, I haven’t really gotten anywhere with that.
I would highly appreciate any help…
Thank you

BTC is at a $2+ Trillion marketcap. That takes a massive amount of capital to move. The days of parabolic BTC gains are over but I think continued long term appreciation and traditional market out-performance is possible with institutional investment money keeps pouring in.
But BTC slowed growth is going to hurt Alts a lot more. Alts only have value because of BTC -- they only grow when BTC goes on bullruns and retail takes profits to gamble on Alts. Institutional investment had changed all that and only a trickle of money is flowing to Alts.
I commented this earlier this year that the bigger Alts are now reaching saturation points and will have a hard time going up. Ask yourself where is the money going to come from to move these large marketcap Alts most of whose marketcaps are today larger than they were 4 years ago or 7-8 years ago despite their prices being lower because they have dumped and dumped so many tokens on bagholders? Retail doesn't have that type of money and institutional investors have virtually no interest in Alts.

> If you look at alt coin charts and you look at bitcoin charts… They pretty much move in tandem. They go up during the bull market and they all go down during the bear market.
Coinmarketcap used to show the Alt/BTC ratio by default when you looked at the charts. But every chart you looked at showed Alts bleeding against BTC and falling off a cliff. So when Binance bought CMC, they removed the Alt/BTC ratio. Now noobs aren't even familiar with Sats value or BTC ratio and gleefully lose money investing in shitcoins, celebrating the 10% pumps followed by 25% dumps thinking they are winning.
Go to CoinGecko and look at the charts with the Alt/BTC ratio and long every Alt's value falls a cliff dumping and bleeding against BTC long term after reaching a certain marketcap.

Also part of the reason i was so suprised. I was only checking official fixed rates ( ECB and BNB ) and not the rates of individual banks. Even google converts it to 1.95583 ( rounded to 1.96).
Then some users corrected me and i checked our other banks, where the buy/sell is closer to Revolut rates.

The crypto space is full of Noob Bagholders like you claiming to be millionaires with their fictional stories.
Your lies are so bad. ETH was $20 range in March of 2017 and BNB didn't even exist then. Binance was launched around Q3 of 2017 and those of us who were in crypto moved to it after moving from Poloniex to Bittrex then after Bittrex started having issues and stopped signing up new users Q3 of 2017. Not sure in which fictional universe you discovered BNB first and then bought ETH for $20 lol

And that’s what changed everything for me. I bought my first ETH at around $20.

You’re confusing anecdotal “experience” with sound economic mechanics, and mistaking temporary balance reversion for a lack of impermanent loss.
In PancakeSwap v3, impermanent loss is not some optional feature that only shows up in v2 pools, it is embedded into the very mechanics of concentrated liquidity AMMs. When price moves inside your chosen tick range, the protocol rebalances your position, shifting your asset exposure… this is impermanent loss. If BNB drops and re enters your range, it doesn’t “restore” your original asset balance. What actually happens is that you’ve sold some BNB for USDT at the lower price, and then rebought it higher as price moved back. You didn’t recover, you just got churned. You may have ended with the same dollar value, but less BNB. That’s a loss relative to HODLing, that’s impermanent loss. The fact that Binance arbitrages PCS against its CEX isn’t a feature, it’s an admission that arbitrageurs profit at your expense. They’re not doing you a favor, they’re extracting value from your position by taking advantage of the spread. You’re the passive victim of those trades. And yes, more volume can lead to more fees if price stays in range. But the claim that more volatility = more fees without IL is flat-out wrong. High volatility increases the chance of price leaving your range, which means no more fees, max IL, and your position becoming a single-asset bag.
You think experience proves reliability, but what you’re really describing is survivorship bias. If you’ve LP’d BNB during favorable sideways chop within your range, congratulations, you got lucky. But your ignorance of the underlying math doesn’t make the IL disappear. It just makes you the liquidity not the provider.

No, there's not, not in v3 pools. I mean of course you will lose value if BNB price falls, but let's say it goes from 650 to 600 then back at 650, you will not miss a single dollar, and you would have stacked more rewards as price action is exactly what's needed to print money.

Starting a crypto project with little to no capital is challenging but possible if you leverage your skills, creativity, and community support. Here’s a step-by-step guide to launching a crypto project on a tight budget:
\### \*\*1. Define Your Project’s Value Proposition\*\*
\- \*\*Identify a Problem:\*\* Solve a real need in the crypto space (e.g., DeFi, NFTs, DAOs, gaming, or tooling).
\- \*\*Unique Selling Point (USP):\*\* Differentiate from competitors (e.g., lower fees, better UX, novel tokenomics).
\- \*\*MVP (Minimum Viable Product):\*\* Start with the simplest version of your idea.
\### \*\*2. Choose a Low-Cost Blockchain\*\*
\- Use \*\*Ethereum Layer 2s\*\* (Arbitrum, Optimism) or \*\*low-fee chains\*\* like Polygon, Solana, or BNB Chain.
\- Consider \*\*testnets\*\* (Goerli, Sepolia) for early development before mainnet deployment.
\### \*\*3. Bootstrap Development\*\*
\- \*\*Learn to Code:\*\* Use free resources (Solidity, Rust, Vyper) via:
\- CryptoZombies (Solidity)
\- FreeCodeCamp
\- YouTube tutorials
\- \*\*No-Code Tools:\*\* Use platforms like \*\*Moralis, Thirdweb, or Alchemy\*\* for smart contract deployment.
\- \*\*Open-Source Contributions:\*\* Fork existing projects (GitHub) and modify them.
\### \*\*4. Build a Community Early\*\*
\- \*\*Twitter/X & Discord:\*\* Engage with crypto communities, share updates, and gather feedback.
\- \*\*Telegram Groups:\*\* Create a group for early supporters.
\- \*\*Airdrops & Bounties:\*\* Reward early adopters with future tokens (requires no upfront capital).
\### \*\*5. Tokenomics & Fundraising\*\*
\- \*\*Fair Launch:\*\* Distribute tokens via liquidity mining or free claims (e.g., memecoins like Shiba Inu).
\- \*\*Community Presale:\*\* Use a platform like \*\*PinkSale\*\* (low-cost token launchpad).
\- \*\*Retroactive Funding:\*\* Build first, then apply for grants (e.g., \*\*Ethereum Foundation, Gitcoin\*\*).
\### \*\*6. Marketing on a Budget\*\*
\- \*\*Organic Growth:\*\* Post daily on Crypto Twitter, engage in Reddit discussions.
\- \*\*Memes & Viral Content:\*\* Memecoins thrive on hype—leverage humor and trends.
\- \*\*Partnerships:\*\* Collaborate with other small projects for mutual growth.
\### \*\*7. Monetization Strategies\*\*
\- \*\*Transaction Fees:\*\* If building a DEX or DeFi protocol, take a small fee.
\- \*\*NFT Sales:\*\* Offer utility NFTs for access or rewards.
\- \*\*Donations & Grants:\*\* Apply for \*\*Gitcoin Grants, MolochDAO, or Chainlink Grants\*\*.
\### \*\*8. Legal & Compliance Considerations\*\*
\- \*\*Decentralize Early:\*\* Avoid securities regulations by making the project community-driven.
\- \*\*Anonymous Launch:\*\* Some founders stay pseudonymous (e.g., Satoshi, Vitalik early on).
\### \*\*9. Scale Gradually\*\*
\- \*\*Start Small:\*\* Focus on a niche before expanding.
\- \*\*Reinvest Earnings:\*\* Use early revenue to fund further development.
\### \*\*10. Alternative Paths (No Coding)\*\*
\- \*\*Meme Coins:\*\* Create a fun token (e.g., Dogecoin clone) using tools like \*\*Pump.fun\*\*.
\- \*\*NFT Projects:\*\* Use OpenSea’s free minting tools.
\- \*\*Affiliate Marketing:\*\* Promote other projects for commissions.
\### \*\*Final Tips\*\*
\- \*\*Be Persistent:\*\* Many successful projects started with zero capital.
\- \*\*Leverage Free Tools:\*\* GitHub, Remix IDE, Hardhat, and Infura have free tiers.
\- \*\*Avoid Scams:\*\* Never pay for "guaranteed" exchange listings.
Would you like help refining a specific idea or finding free resources for development? 🚀
